My Wife Stella went to be with her Lord on the 16th July 2022. She was never sick. Complained of chest pain and we were in the hospital and within 12 hours she was gone. My husband and I were pregnant with a baby boy and I had a perfect pregnancy with no health issues. My body went into preterm labor unexpectedly at 24 weeks and had to have an emergency C-Section because they couldn't stop the labor. Our boy Teddy was born July 15 2022 weighing 1 pound 10.5oz and passed away in my husband and I's arms Sunday July 17 2022 at 4:06pm. From the time he was born to the time he passed he lived 44 hours. My husband and I just listened to this and bawled. What a beautiful sad song that hits right in the feels.
I am visually impaired and hearing impaired. On April 5, 2022, i lost my precious service dog, my Guide Dog Melville who passed away unexpectedly due to illness. 😭 He was my Guide Dog for 6 wonderful years. He was my heart dog. Shortly after he passed away, i heard this song for the first time. It immediately brought tears to my eyes. I also lost my mom on November 13, 2019. She was my rock in a hard place. I also lost my younger sister in 1997 unexpectedly. Hearing this song made me think of all three of them. Thank you for singing this song. It really touched my heart.

My church suffered 6 deaths this year. Four of those deaths were in the last 5 weeks. We first lost my grandmother then a deacon. October 5th we lost my grandfather who was my best friend. We were inseparable and always together everywhere we went. We then lost my youth pastor, his cousin, and a deacon. One thing in common for all 6 of these precious people are that they accepted Christ as Savior at one point in their life and today they rest in Heaven. I know it’s not a human, but my closest friend was my dog, Gizmo. He meant the world to me and would do this sweet little thing when I’d cry or get anxious and lay his head on my shoulder and lean his whole body against me in a hug. I lost him on the first of this month, and I’m finding here lately I really could use one of his hugs. He had an overbite that made him “b-crop” or “flawed” but to me it was his smile and it never failed to make me feel better, even in my darkest times. He was my hero when I felt alone of tired, giving me inspiration and a reason to continue on, even when things were hard.

My late wife passed away three years ago from a shocking disease, I felt devastated with grief, and I was so heartbroken 💔 but God and time are indeed the best healers. I lost my 23 year old cousin in March of 2021. I struggled for many months with regret but learned how to turn a regret into a lesson. Some periods are harder than others but I know that’s super normal with grief. I’m a freshman in college and hav3 been struggling. I may not pass some of my classes at the end of the semester and that’s been really getting to me. But I’ve been trying my absolute hardest and I’ve come to realize failing college classes DOES NOT make me a failure. I know my cousin has been here with me helping me through this.
