Lol, I just realized that I have like half of your videos saved. I am currently trying to convince my parents to get me a horse and after showing them all the videos of yours that I have watched they are starting to really consider it. I love your videos and Tucker is the cutest.

That’s awesome! I’ve found that leasing a horse really helps you get the feel for having a horse of your own without having the full commitment and fear of not knowing how to handle difficult financial situations (such as unexpected injuries and expensive vet bills 😅) Anyway, best of luck to you! I hope you figure out a riding situation that works well for you 😌❤️

I’m a new rancher. I watch your videos all the time and it’s truly helped with learning how to handle and care for my horse and myself during our time together.
I always refer to you and a couple others because of the clear, easy to understand recommendation! Thank you

I really enjoy your videos. You seem to hit topics that no one else does such as, getting stuck in your training, exercises for keeping your horse in shape when you can't ride, etc.
I liked the explanation of the app, Equilab, as well, and how you went through it with us instead of just telling us about it.

I always record myself riding and just watching those videos helps me improve a lot. Seeing what I did wrong makes it easier for me to learn from my mistakes.

What's a good way to get into training? I've been volunteering at a horse ranch the past few weeks to sort of reconnect to old family traditions and find that I am super comfortable around horses in general. Getting back on a horse after several decades not riding felt like riding a bike. I know nothing of the horse industry and I don't know if this horse ranch is the best to get involved with learning how to start horses and training.

Hi there! Your videos have been so helpful to me! I have a question, I am full leasing a horse who was mainly used on trail riding, and he doesn’t like to back up or stop. I’ve been having a lot of issues getting him to simply stop. He’s extremely buddy sour as well, so he doesn’t stop until he gets over to his friends. The only way he’ll stop is if you pull back on the reins extremely hard(a habit his owner taught him I think) My main problem is whenever I go to lope/canter him, he always picks up the wrong lead, even if it’s in a corner and I use the correct ques. And then he does this weird kick out thing that knocks me out of the saddle a bit and starts galloping full speed to his friends, the gate, or even just a wall. And the only way to stop him is to pull extremely hard on the bit(which I hate to do). I’ve been bringing him in circles, as well as making him back up, etc. but do you have any tips, or maybe some things I could do on the ground to help with this? Thank you so much!!

    I have a yucky but necessary question/info/video topic/help/request….
Will you Please please please share any tips you might have on how to help me desensitize my OTTB for cleaning “his beans”
I have a now super sweet but Very spirited gelding who was horribly abused before I found and rescued him a year and a half ago.
He has since blossomed into such a wonderful and smart horse, but sadly he has held onto some past trauma in relation to “that” area/belly
He literally will NOT let Anyone complete the task
I am the only person allowed to even be in that general area but it hasn’t progressed further towards an actual cleaning.
(He does drop fine for me and does not have any ulcers.)
His vet could not get close enough safely to do the cleaning this year or last, even with him being under 2 types of sedation.
He does not freak, kick or lash out in any other situation, just with this and I’m at a loss on what to do :(
    Help, please help
    thank you!!;)

I have a small question for you . At the moment im riding a pony at my stables at every lesson and ive fallen off alot when we jump because he throws my seat off because he pulls his head down over jumps and I really wanna ride another horse so i can work on my jumping without worrying to keep his head up . What do I do?
