It sounds like she was using autotune anyway but it wasn't done correctly. When you sing in the wrong key of what auto tune is programmed to it sounds alot like this. Also probably difficult to get the right key due to the amount of different places the speakers were coming from. You can hear the delays in the speakers in the background which would confuse a singer. It's very difficult to sing in the correct key of what the auto tune is programmed to without musical accompaniment

When I sang the national anthem with my choir for a hockey game, I felt like we were sorta disrespectful towards our nation because people in my choir couldn’t take it seriously. And I thought my group sounded bad. Atp singers are just doing anything to be “the best” her songs actually sound good too. What is going on with her?? I’m a singer and I am a recording artist that sings very high and I’m very careful not to record anything that I am not able to sing, I sing like Ann Wilson and she sang the national anthem a few years ago and she absolutely blew the stadium into the stratosphere, she was brilliant.
I hope that the present singer can provide some integrity for her audience, I wondered if the material was just too difficult to do, but why would she do it if she was not able to perform it. I am going to find out more about her
