H. E. Virochana Rinpoche visited the Centre for Bhutan and GNH Studies

Along with the Rinpoche, Her Majesty Gyalyum Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck and Her Royal Highness Ashi Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, visited the Centre to consecrate the new Thongdrel of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and the newly constructed stupa of the Centre.

There are thousands of tulkus, and in Bhutan they are all invariably HE or HH, even if they are 7 years old..!!

Vairochana Rinpoche is tulku of famous Translator Vairotsana of Tibet. HH Je Khenpo , the spiritual leader of Bhutan recognized him . Rinpoche is a royal prince like the Buddha . HIs mother is a princess , daughter of Fourth King of Bhutan. He lives in Thimphu and educated by highest scholars of Bhutan and abroad .

Buddha was born a prince for one reason. He was born a prince because he was born in India where there is very very strong caste system. If he was born in low caste nobody in India from high caste would listen to him and make a joke out of him. During those days High caste people in India treat low caste people like animals in India . Very very discriminatory. Buddha was from High caste prince so he would bring changes to the caste system. He vehemently opposed the Hindus caste system and said everyone is born with buddha nature and has potential to become Buddha's . If he said those things as a low caste person the high caste might even murder him. But since he was born a rich prince in high caste the high caste couldn't do anything to him because he his father the king had money and power to protect his life. Some high Tulkus are born for these reasons to rich people. Poor people will not be able to afford them good education and good chance to become great masters. Rich people can give best education, exposure , everything possible in this world . And also to instill faith in rich people and remind them to treat everyone with kindness . I see it that way. And if tulku is born to rich people with their own family money they will be able to do great things for the preservation of the Buddha Dharma .
