@@PLUX4I think I've heard from other people, that the participants in the ladder match got to choose who would win the match, while they were also expressly told that whoever won it in the ladder match would lose it to the Miz on the next night, so it was happening either way, but anyway the length of the title reign doesn't matter, all Matt wanted was to have his music played at wrestlemania, he was stoked to be in a ladder match at Wrestlemania for the intercontinental title, and he was ecstatic that he got to win it, he got more than he could ever dreamed of and they can never take away from him the fact that that happened
I love zack, im glad he got a wrestlemania moment (that he DESERVED) but i absolutely remember how stupid of a booking decision it was at the time. Which seemed to be the whole running theme of the show. At least he got some big shine out of it!

Matt was literally in every show, every week. RAW, SMACKDOWN, Main Event, NXT! He was the workhorse that everyone rooted for every time! If he ever gets back to WWE, he needs a good run.
