Best sounding and best looking exhaust for the 300L. Mines on order along with an EJK. Can’t wait to get rid of the stock exhaust sound.

@@thejayman587 Heck yea nice. My exhaust will get here wednesday. Now I just need to figure out the process of sending my ECU to 550.
Watching it on my TV with a Bose 700 full system cranked up its like its right there in my room, sounds pretty mean 😁
Bose is nothing like it used to be, basic systems now.

I love it. Mine is bone stock and 1 year old now. I want the full exhaust. Also can you tell me about rack on the back and the other stuff you’ve done. I want mine just like this!
Sounds wicked man. My didn't come yet. Not sure why, but this makes me more excited. I did a 13 tooth renthal on the front too, huge difference man, super noticable. Not sure what my top speed is now but it braps, $40 bucks. I can't ride my bike for another few weeks anyways. I decimated the front suspension LOL
Good stuff I want to do the sprockets on mine, top speed with the exhaust is definitely noticeable it was doing 72mph/116 kph no problem in 5th gear.

I can still hear that 5k rattle 😭 sounds great though. I'm waiting for FMF to have their quiet system come out for the US market. I want more than the factory exhaust but not as loud as the Yoshi
Back in the '70's the was a slogan for off road bikes:

I noticed when I put a yoshi on my XR650 it "felt" more like a dirt bike, and seemed like I ripped on it a little harder.

I’m bummin out,,just found out my Yoshimura for my xr650l Supermoto is on back order and may not be here till 2 Nd week of December. Sounds great,,can’t wait
Its worth the wait, got one on my 650l along with all the other popular mods (also worth it). You will now feel like your riding a dirtbike! plus it looks way better!
Also put a crf 450 rear fender on it along with polisport headlight and newer style front fender for an "updated" look.
Ya yer gonna want to get that ejk and remap the ecu fast cuz if you just add the exhaust on with no remap the fuel to air ratio might be a bit lean and that's no good.
Love The look and the sound……Question?do you have the spark arrester in? I hear that tames it down a bit. On a side note I called FMF asking why we haven’t seen an exhaust from them yet for This bike and they told me that they will not be making one. He told me the new regs in Cali wont allow them too…

Did you ever feel the need that you had to add a heat shield on the muffler end or along the motor portion? I got this exhaust coming but I’m not sure if I should sauce out of heat shield or not!
Sounds great!! Mines on order. Did it come with a insert or spark arrestor and do you have one in? Loving this bike more and more! Doing sprockets and tires was huge!
No unfortunately you have to buy one separately, I don’t have one in right now.

If you downshift on decel does the bike have some pops?
Are you planning on doing anything with the airbox/filter to make it less restricting? Also is there a heat shield for the header pipe that you plan on getting?
Might do a air box mod but I’m ridding a lot off-road so maybe not, headed pipe burnt my pants the other day so definitely going to need a heat shield. It’s not going to burn you often but if you are not careful it could but not in regular riding positions.
Did you ever figure out a heat shield?

Protaper Contour Cr mid. 1/1/8 bars they are great and feel a lot sturdier then stock.
Is this Yoshi the street legal or the off-roading ? Because there are 2 versions for the 300l/rally...

Wonder how much of the 'power' people 'feel' is just due to the sound. I mean 1hp should not be that noticeable?
.. And do you feel the heat or have you have any issues with the pipe as it doesn't hacve a heatshield where as the stock does? (next to your leg)
If you had a 1 HP engine, and you got it to 2 HP, would you notice? Yeah I think you could tell a 100% increase in power, even if its just 2 HP total you would notice, same concept here. On a 1000 HP car drag car you would not notice 1 HP.
No issue with the heat it actually runs cooler then stock but if riding correctly the exhaust shouldn’t burn you
Have you noticed any issues, I got the slip on and the bikes died on me 4 times, when I pull the clutch in to downshift it just dies, and the rpms seem lower, been riding for a while but hasn't really gotten better, the engine is also running hotter definitely really lean now, need to get my ecu flashed.
Definitely noticed the same thing, I’m sending mine to get flashed soon it will fix that problem, you gotta use a bit more clutch now, it has died on me of few times, but still manageable for now. Sucks that my bike will be out of commission for a week because I use it daily. Going to be worth it tho.
@@motogoon are you not worried about voiding your warranty, I bought a new ecu and was gunna get that one flashed so I could keep my original if I ever had to take it in for warranty work, but the ecus are backordered
@@cameroniscorner9212 worst case is order a new ecu if anything happens, but I think it should be good most likely nothing will happen.
@@motogoon what tune are you getting I was gunna get 550 to reflash to the Thai tune but not sure if that's sufficient

Ordered directly from Yoshimura they sent it less then a week later

No it just comes loud and crisp

If you watch the video on it from Yoshi on CZcams they say you don't have to do anything to the computer where are you taking yours to the dealer?
550 performance, you don’t have to but it will help with throttle response and help get the full potential of the exhaust
Can the Honda dealer do it?
I would get a K&N air filter or some two before I got it tuned though
@@shmack-dab-in-da-middle3960 not my local dealer, it’s 140 usd to have it done by 550, you just ship it to them and they ship it back.
