Youre choking it to death, you dont need the choke right now. the choke needs backing off. loosen the screws and turn it clock wise, it will back off choke and you can lock it open.

Got it...that carb comes with an electric choke but wasn't connected for the testing, and it's my first time working with a carb. Thanks for the advice....right know it's starting right up like a fuel injected car 👍🏻

Car is looking good , just installed my wilwood MC for the clutch and started reinstalling my pedals ,that I overhauled
