    I'm at 93,000 km on our 2022 model 3 LFP. When new at full charge it displayed 438 km. Now it shows 421 km range and in day to day driving I haven't noticed any impact. 100% charge every night, drive long distances regularly through freezing winters (-20c) and hot summers. 60% home charging 40% Supercharging. By far the best car I've ever owned.

    Great video! I'm only 2 months in the 2023 RWD LFP M3 and I'm sure enough that i can say this is the best car I've ever had. Prettiest award would go to my former 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia though.
    As I live in the states, mine is a Cali built car and the build quality is outstanding.
    Plan on keeping this one for a long time.

      Glad to hear the quality has risen in the USA at Tesla. It was a little behind a few years ago. Enjoy the car as I know you will !!

    pretty much the same, lost about 4-5% in the beginning and then nothing else for the following year and half

    I've had my 2023 Model 3 RWD since Oct 2022. It listed 441 kms at 100% SOC. Now, its April 2024 and I just passed 55,000 kms with a max SOC of 420 kms. Always charged to 100% and plugged in when not in use. Hoping my 80,000 km warranty check goes well which, at my mileage rate, will likely be by the end of this summer. Thanks for the video. Cheers from 🍁Canada🍁

    Had my M3LR since March 22, new. Nobody looks after their car like me. After 17k miles, no chips, scratches or dents. Inside literally new. Glass like paint, ceramic coated, literally better than new. No issues, great service.

    I have just bought one of the Model 3 Highland RWD and the quality is amazing. I am looking at the quality as being in the top level. Loving it. Information I have found about LFP is drops are expected in the first few years and then it levels off, other thing to think about is how it was driven in the first few months compared to now, could the accelerator be working a little more and therefore less range?
    Just found your channel and subscribed!

    • @KKandEV
      @KKandEV  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yes… LFP is definitely better for far less degradation AND 100% charging whenever you want or need to. Still early days yet but all the folk I’ve spoke to are all saying the same that expect a drop of 3-7% within 2 years. Some call it the Million mile Battery pack. Enjoy your car ….im sure you will!

      @@KKandEV Thanks KK, I had a leased KKia E Niro 4+ for past 3 years and have 27572 miles completed. It used 8088kWh at a total cost of £874.26, so an average 3.41 miles per gallon.
      So far the Tesla looks far more promiusing for the efficiency!

      I did achieve 5.1 in the summer but that was in chill mode , keeping to ALL speed limits and….. being bored off lights👍🏻
      It’s on the channel under the heading about Tesla Range testing and Sentry Mode eating into it.

    Lol. I lost 30 miles after 9000 miles. And now I need a new HV battery at 45k miles. NCA battery. 😅
    Good new Tesla gonna give me a brand-new LFP battery

    • @KKandEV
      @KKandEV  Před 3 měsíci

      That is super rare. I guess just like a lot of ICE Cars have engines die or Transmissions fail before they even get to 20k miles but at least Tesla are sorting it. The LFP Battery pack is the one to have as it’s proving to be very good 👍🏻

    Lfp batteries will suffer from 100% charge and high drain/charge when cold. Some owners are getting more degradation in 1 year than some 12 year old cars have

    • @KKandEV
      @KKandEV  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Personally I’ve not noted that and I’ve not heard of anything from my forums, posts , owners I know or this channel regarding any issues of degradation. In fact , exactly the opposite. If you look at all the Battery storage systems and definitely the portable types like Anker, Bluetti, Jackery and EcoFlow to name a few they ALL use LifePo LFP Batteries as they are charged up/ down thousands of times and show far less degradation over NMC.
      Thanks for your input.

      @sgsuper1150 Před 8 měsíci

      @@KKandEV Yes quite a few lfp tesla owners have reported high degradation in the first year 8 to 20 %. I think mostly because they been not looking after them. The high cycle life only applys with 10 to 80% use.

    • @KKandEV
      @KKandEV  Před 8 měsíci +1

      The 20-80% is not a real issue with LFP… Even Tesla advice you charge to 100% . That’s one of the big advantages of LFP. Most brands are now switching over to them.

    • @KKandEV
      @KKandEV  Před 7 měsíci

      @KKandEV ...I think that he's a bit confused. I'm an active forum member and there's NOTHING I've seen about accelerated degradation on 2022+ RWD Model 3's! There's been a handful of PRE-2022 non- LFP complaints....a very few. Like you, everything I've seen points in the opposite direction. Far less degradation then the non-LFP cars so far.
