Hey this is super awesome dude ... I have a consult in a few weeks on the 24th of Sep. this year!! Also seeing Dr. Tobias. Question, how was the payment process for your surgery? Cus I have MassHealth and he takes it, but, apparently it doesn't cover ALL of it, and they'll want me to pay $2000 out of pocket. How did you pay for yours, was it with insurance or out of pocket entirely? Just was curious!
Hey friend! So I have a MassHealth connector insurance and it covered everything except the cosmetic fee which I think is that 2000 dollar fee that you mentioned. Everything else was covered by my insurance!
@@elliotwalsh682 Oh okay, great! Did you pay for that out of pocket? I've had some friends tell me to go through Care Credit, but, I'm not quite sure how that'd even work, if you know of it! :)
@@gostcade1254 I paid for that out of pocket just so I would have it all taken care of and once it was done it was really done forever, but I also had been saving for a while and happened to be lucky enough to have that much to spare since it is quite a bit
So I had my consultation in October and got my surgery in December! They estimated that I would get a date in January, but they had a cancellation. so it's about a 2-3 month gap between consult and surgery for dr. tobias! good luck friend!!
No body I know felt the way I did. I felt hollow because I was so used to having them there. I was too worried about if I would throw up. I am afraid I will never stop that is why. Yes I would rather have paint I agree. Lol they gave me a pill that they give people that get chemotherapy that did work I did not feel sick at all. Back in the 1980s I had my tonsils removed and I almost threw up over that. Instead a huge burp came out. Lol they did surgery on me first because I am diabetic. The Doctor who did my surgery did not use drains. I read he does not believe in using them. This surgeon retured the one who owned the clinic. There are other people there now I think. At the time the surgeon was there working with another surgeon. This surgeon how worked on me is now practicing regular plastic surgery in Florida. I live in Canada I got it done in Canada. When I got my hysterectomy done when I woke up they gave me anitnosia through the IV.
I'm actually not sure!! But I highly recommend calling their office the receptionist who answers the phone is super nice and helpful and would definitely answer your questions! :)

How long after your consultation did you get your surgery?...i have my consultation tomorrow for Top Surgery..im nervous lol

Would you happen to know if he operates on minors? He’s one of the only MA surgeons that accepts my insurance and has good results from what I’ve seen
