Finally, an exhaust video with decibel meter for comparison!!
Loving the add ons you guys are putting on the Corolla. Giving us all great ideas. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the comment! Make sure and turn the bell on so you don't miss future videos!
I like how it isn't too loud, its perfect. Is it possible to mount the exhaust higher up after removing the fake exhaust tips and putting on a diffuser? So the exhaust tips would be sitting about where the fake ones are, instead of below them.
I was wondering the same thing.
Aftermarket diffusers are considerably bigger than the OEM one so you gotta take that into account as well
I've seen some videos of the Corolla Hatchback without the fake exhaust tips, so yes it's possible to remove them. It looks so much nicer without the fake exhaust tips with the quad tip exhaust setup.
I was wondering same thing too lol
Using a different quad tip exhaust but this is what I’m about to do to mine(removing the fake exhaust tips, and having them replaced by the quad tips)
That's strange that they kept the shrouds instead of removing them to make the whole thing look more natural. Now it looks like the replacement exhaust is a tacky afterthought instead of a cohesive, deliberate look.
Agreed
You can remove them
Question:
Is it possible to add quad exhausts to a Corolla SE Apex Edition 2022?
Cheers ! Where can I get the apex set?
Thanks!
will this exhaust fit for the 2020/2021?
@speed industry is it possible to install this quad exhaust system on a corolla le 2020 with 1.8 L?
just about done installing this same exhaust on my 2020 but i got confused on the last rubber hanger at the rear of the car, kit came with bracket and collar distance spacers.
We showed in the video where this goes.Or Maybe I am not understanding the question. Did you purchase the exhaust from us? if so send pics or videos to help@speedindustry.com with invoice number we can help you out more directly.
Too much motor noise, anyone know how to silence it a bit more, maybe a hood cover or something because it seems like the motor sound is as same as the exhaust, I dont like that. I need to hear the exhaust clear
Will it fit on a scion I'm?
I had to buy the HKS exhaust cuz the Apexi one was too expensive for me 😂 Also where did you find the smoked tail light tints? I can’t find where they sell them.
That would be a question for the customer he is linked in the description, we don't carry them currently but we can look into stocking them if you email us help@speedindustry.com awe have a few connections out there if there is interest in them. Thanks for watching! Ring the bell for future videos!
It's just for sound, right?
Does it fit on a hybrid
sounds super sexy! nice job
Ummm Take the Fake exhaust vents out?
Could it be adjusted to set higher up? I would the duals to sit in the faux tips location.
With cutting and fabrication. anything is possible ;-) but not how it comes stock
TOMs has a cat back exhaust system and a rear diffuser that match up so you can replace the diffuser with fake tips. looks nice and sounds better than this too.
@@dalirose9065 Tom's exhaust and diffuser are severely over priced. You can get the diffusers on eBay for about half the price and just buy a better exhaust like the remark exhaust and it sounds waaaay better than Tom's. Tom's is probably my least favorite sounding exhaust. Especially for the price.
Why didn’t you take off the fake tips?
Did you delete the fake mufflers and put it higher by now?
Would look better imo!
Those are fake exhaust tips, but yea I feel you
Remove those bs fake ones, add the quad exhaust accompanied by a nice diffuser and that’s a nice lookin booty
Geez.. that's pricey lol but looks awesome tho 😎
Yeah gotta pay to play! Thanks and make sure you turn the bell on!
How does it feel? Does it have a little more pick up? Any faster?
Feels a bit more torquey and for sure more pep in its step. Thanks for the support with the channel make sure you have the bell rung so you are notified when videos go live!
Yes I’m loving what you are doing. I have the sedan and I haven’t seen any exhaust yet. I’m pumped to get some parts on it.
Doesnt look too bad with the diffuser...
great looking exhaust for sure! make sure you let your e210 friends know! Thanks for watching! Make sure you subscribe and ring the bell!
Does it wiggle around?
Not sure what you mean by wiggle? The exhaust is solid!
...that's what the hangers are for, to allow for a tiny bit of movement. The rubber hangers should grip the hanging rods tight enough to not allow sway. That's why ppl recommend the exhaust hanger removal tool; to overcome the friction the rubber has on the metal.
Take out fake panel and ad the diffuser
does it fit the tom's diffuser?
If the diffuser ends in the same spot as the stock bumper then it should.
That was about to be my same question haha
@@JSeoul does the toms sit lower than the stock bumper?
From description from Tom's, it has to install the exhaust with their diffuser, so I'm thinking that they are different fitting from stock
. By the way, Thank you for your service.
SPEED INDUSTRY it fits. Kinda “made for” this exhaust setup tbh
Sounds good but looks.horrible when u leave the fake exhaust trim on the car lol
Huhmm thought it would sound better than that
Why no mention of measurements on the piping? Who the hell sells or buys a performance exhaust and doesn't mention the measurement at all? WoW. SMH.
Insane price for a car that is stuck in a weird spot. If people can come up witb a way to get a bit more out of it without spending an insane amount of money then maybe? Unfortunately Honda never dropped their performance options from the Civic line and the last time Toyota even looked at giving consumers something fun in a budget minded package was the Corolla XRS.
Meh. I couldnt deal with how it looks. Hanging exhaust tips under the fake exhaust trim on the bumper looks pretty awful.
Those fake exhaust tips got to go!!!!
The worst sounding exhaust for the corolla hatch
Not much of a difference
Too much motor noise, anyone know how to silence it a bit more, maybe a hood cover or something because it seems like the motor sound is as same as the exhaust, I dont like that. I need to hear the exhaust clear
