Good morning, thanks for tuning in! I'm going to take you through this simple but very effective 10 minute morning yoga class. This is great for all experience levels and no props are required.
We'll start with cat/cow before moving into a Warrior 2 sequence and we'll end with some simple seated stretches. This should feel really good in your entire body as we stretch from head to toe.
Practicing yoga in the morning is a wonderful way to set your intention for the day ahead. Focus on the flow and rhythm of your breath as you move through these poses and ask yourself what your intention for the day is.

I’m trying to establish a regular yoga practice… Which, for me is 3 to 4 times a week. I can’t tell you how helpful the short 10 minute videos are. I’m still working my way through your 28 day 10 minute morning yoga challenge. Thank you!
3-4 times a week sounds interesting! This makes me wonder whether I'm being perfectionist and/or overdoing it by making it my goal to do it every day. 😥
@MagisterialVoyager not at all. I try to practice everyday, but work & life always get in the way. If I can do 5 classes a week I'm happy
I'm going to look that up, I need a good jumpstart to get back into the habit!
You got this!!! At first it would take me 30 minutes to do the 10 minute yoga because my brain and body wouldn’t sit still long enough and I would pause it and get things done or at least write them down. Now I’ve finally got it down to 15 minutes and after a year I now am in the habit of doing it almost every day. If I skip a day of Kassandra, I feel off lol

My word is gratitude. I've been a subscriber to your channel now for over 3 years. I started doing yoga with your videos during the COVID shutdown of Summer 2020. I have managed to keep up with my practice because of the 10-15 minute videos you do. I want to send you a huge THANK YOU! This truly has been a life changer for me. I am going to be 54 (which is hard for me to believe as I feel way younger than that) in a few days and your videos have helped me ward off all the aches and pains that I know I would have but for your yoga videos. I love this flow. I love that you are outside. All summer, well, since the beginning of May, I have been doing yoga with you, and my other workouts, outside on the back deck. It faces east and looks out over beautiful backyard landscaping. There is just something about doing yoga outside, in the fresh air, facing the morning sun and feeling the heat intensify. My word today is "fresh."
