Never mind the following, musicians might take some interest, though.
Very fascinating when I, as a beginner to harmonies, tried to find the key this song is in on the keyboard. To me, that is not C major but a diatonic-C-major which in my mind is F major where the b flat (a sharp) becomes a higher note, namely b. What I just guessed with F probably does not exist. I know that there are three different modes of minor acknowledged. How does the latter relate to the A minor turning, at the ending of the song, to one of those three minor modes that, as such (that should be valid generally, in the Roman chords) resembles F major with b instead of b flat (a sharp). My guess is that it could be "natural" minor - as it is as bright as it gets (because there is no change in the upper notes, take the happy major).
Anyone else get Darts vibe? Sounds like someone’s entrance theme in the chorus 🤔
