Edit: Sorry, it was pointed out that Acherons E1 wasnt activated. My mistake. However, Black Swans E1 might be the best in the game and E1 Silver Wolf solves her energy regen problem allowing her to ult more consistently depending on debuffs.
@@TrentOhNoshe didn’t have Acheron E1 activated, but I gotta mention that E1 Black Swan was a massive damage boost for the whole team, that eidolon kinda turns her from pure DoT to debuffer DoT

@@TrentOhNo It's kind of ridiculous to compare a 3 pull like Gacha's team versus an 9 pull team. HuoHuo was there as well with S5 Post-Op. This tournament needs some balancing lol. I don't think she was even utilizing Acheron Ult with the Black Swan 25% enemy turn damage increase.

Moon’s team is amazing! Love the synergy of SW putting a guaranteed Wind Weakness to Sam, making BS SW and Acheron helping each other to break the shield fast,not to mention the all type of resistance shred from SW that benefit both Acheron and BS

Of course not, both teams focused on getting her supports which is the whole point of the match. The more noticeable difference is Blade vs DHIL.
Looking at Iyo and his use of the Yukong Ultimate, I must say that I don't get why he doesn't use the skill first and then he could've enhanced this skill with the ultimate. But first thing he does is, he MISSES the use of her Ultimate to prolong the effect of her tequnique, and then he forgets, again and again, to enhance her skill with her ultimate. - In the beginning he looked like a man with a plan to me, because he could enhance Blade's follow attack with Yukong. (With her stacks being in place, this is something both the commenters were missing). But the longer I watched it, the more doubtful I got.
Bros Yukong was off the optimal speed anyways and I think he wasted too much energy trying to minmax Blades hp loss for ultimate

Well to no surprise, the team with DHIL and Acheron will win and impressive showcase from goddoggos for that DHIL sprkleless team comp. You never need sparkle for DHIL its just about how you strategize.

The black swan comp surprised me the most. Hyper acheron teams are strong but damn seeing the damage black swan can put out is nice. Great tournament and plays by everyone, nice vid Volkin!

Pretty sure she's supposed to use Acheron ult on Sams turn for 25% increased damage so that is actually not clean.
GodDoggos and Moon had a crazy pincer first double pick. Going Black Swan/Dan Heng with Imaginary bans is based as hell, but they also could've just snatched away Black Swan AND Kafka if they wanted to abuse the Turbulence. Also feels int to be first pick and to ban Ruan Mei away. Fun tourney as always, hope we can get more soon

17:31 That was Hanya, not Bronya ;D The team had 1 SP, IL's ult truggered Hanya's burden recovering 1 SP and giving IL 2 stacks, resulting in him having 2SP + 2 stacks to do a 3EBA and 1 SP leftover.
People sleep on Hanya a lot, especially now that Sparkle is out (that was pretty fast nerf for Hanya ngl) but she's actually a really, really useful unit to have!
Nah it's not a nerf not all people have sparkle and we don't know when she will comeback again. While Hanya can be featured anytime and is available in Standard banner.
@@justinvincent1691 I mean that she filled in a niche spot that was previously vacant, only to have a 5* harmony unit get released right after who does the exact same thing but a lot better. That's extremely unlucky. For a little while she was getting recommended a lot, but now everyone will just recommend Sparkle instead, with Hanya fading into the background.
Hence why a lot of people don't even know what she does. :/
@@user89389 they were both in the same banner. For players who lost their 50/50 they will use her and 4 star banners rerun more often than 5 star. Always remember most 4 stars will be overshadowed by 5 stars.

People tend to forget that BlackSwan is just as OP as Acheron just because BS damage is not front loader doesn't mean she's not as insane as Acheron.
I think black swan true value isn't just her damage it's ability to be a sub dps in some teams while also supporting with her def down and vulnerability

Black swan will help and can stand on her own but ultimately her damage is backloaded
Kafka isn't so much about her personal damage as much as her being a enabler allowing any dot unit to be both backloaded and on demand
@@rikkucrowe I agree with were you're comming from however I feel like people forget that black swan offers more than just a dot and has future value aswell, I doubt that hoyoverse will release another dot unit that allows every other dot unit in the game to trigger their own dot that can deal up to 20k easily adding to that units damage, aswell as making it so that ults can deal 25% more damage and a defense shred on top of that. Yes Kafka is a key part in dot teams making dot front loaded however future dot characters will most likely trigger their own dots and maybe other dots as well , this is already evident with guinafen, Luka and sampo being able to trigger dots as well. Ignoring black swans versatility I think that Kafka has a slight edge over black swan in dot teams tbh.
Are these going to be run after each new character comes out? Really hope so.. it shines light on competetive teams and new meta's straight away!

I really most of the time enjoy Gachasmacks teamcomps ,they are always more F2P or niche oriented which is just more interesting to see. Sure he did 1 cycle slower clear than Moon but considering how stacked Moon's team was I really saw gachasmack as the winner there
I actually don't understand I thought there were massive penalties bringing eidolons etc into the run but apparently just the number of cycles counts?
@@rlstrength Yeah, seems like they don't care about that anymore. Moon's BS is E1 for example, which reduces Sam's Wind and Lightning RES by 25%, which I would say is pretty huge. E1 SW also made SW's ultimate rotation much faster. Not sure why they stopped taking Eidolons and LCs into consideration, especially when they heavily impact the outcome of these tournaments. Even if the tournaments are for fun, it just feels weird.
@@PersonaPrime even the number of limited 5* in the team... Iyo and Moon were playing a completely different game at this point, if there was no (alleged) 4k on the line sure but the "results" seem so anticlimactic.
Maybe the penalties were calculated and this was the outcome? If I remember the timaeuss rules correctly it was insane like several cycle penalties per eidolon so I don't see how it is possible
@@rlstrength I heard they changed the rules about the money and each content creator receives the same amount regardless of who wins. They can correct me if I am wrong. If 4k was actually on the line, there is no way some content creators wouldn't get more sweaty during these events. If the money isn't split between the 4 of them equally, then yeah, not implementing penalties is a massive flaw of these tournaments.

im still in favor of a '9' character draft though. where the new 5* character is automatically picked first, then the teams get to pick 8 other characters in the normal draft, where one of them can be used to as a red herring or disruption counter pick.

I love the turnaments and think they are really cool, but i think moving foward the ammount of bans should increase as there is so many strong units.
I love how God Doggo and Gacha Smack always has that style that they use unconventional not top-tier units on their plays.
Literally proved that every unit is capable of clearing MoC with that Hanya and Gepard
From what I remember last time, they also used Luka and Yanqing. They were goats for these plays

If anyone is wondering, an easier way to play Doggos' IL team is just running Bronya slower than Lunae, and Hanya lightning fast. Sounds a little counterintuitive and weird but that's the team I usually run my E0 DHIL in and it's pretty comfy with the SP they generate before Bronya pulls him back.
