G'day Josh, I thoroughly enjoy watching people become fans of this incredible young man. Apart from his stunning voice, I noticed from the first early videos that his diction and enunciation were pretty good, with a slight accent when Dan speaks, which has diminished some over the years,,, and to these old ears, it sounds sexy as... 😉 Kinda makes me wish I'd paid more attention in high school language class...ah well.. if wishes were fishes no one would starve, as my ol' Nan used to say. 😏 🙃🐨🇦🇺

I've been a fan for some years now and I've found that in his earlier works he stayed more true to the original artists. But now in the past year or so he has taken the original and truly made it his own. Seal's Kiss From A Rose comes to mind. He uses both the male and female voices to make it more like a love song between two people. I think, though, it's his vast and varied list of just about every genre of music there is. I've heard metal, ballads, show tunes, opera, gospel, Christmas songs, just an amazing variety of wonderful music, Dan style. He's professionally voice trained, which explains his stance and ability to hold notes darn near an eternity. Such as the final note of Bring Me To Life. He's even sung at least one traditional song, Loch Lommond. I haven't listened to his entire catalog, but I'm on my way. Thanks so much for the great review, Josh. It's great to watch other folks discover and enjoy what I have. You're amazing, too.

I don't know if you've done any Gabriel Henrique on your channel, I forget to check, but he is one of the best vocalists out there and also from Brazil, he does a cover of "Don't Stop Believing" that will knock you out of your chair, and he also just released "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith, so good. Also his cover of "Hurt" from Christina Aguilara...OMG its killer. Okay I'll stop Gabriel has soo many songs you just have to dive in. I love Dan and just about everything he's done, "Kiss by a Rose" definitely a favorite, "Bring Me Back To Life", "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan....you don't often get classically trained Metal Singers with the range that man has, and he's so theatrical when he sings, just adds to the experience, he could definitely be on any Broadway or West End stage. Love your channel, really enjoy the music you choose. ❤️
