Looks like a nice little place. Thanks for the tour keep up the good work 👍
I used to live in bridlington and I was born in bridlington Great little town good fish and chips
Thank you for visiting the John Bull factory outlet shop. Well worth a tour around the John Bull world of rock factory, at Carnaby.
I moved here over six years ago as it was always a favourite of ours for weekends so we thought why not. Been a lot of Regeneration in that time. We love it here. There is so much information you could have given as you went around. So much you didn't look at. The Gansey girl.(where you left your key ring) is worth a mention. She is knitting a gansey jumper while she waits for her man to come home from the sea. Gansey jumpers have speacle patterns that says where in the country they were made.they were knitted in such a way as to protect the men who wore them from the elements.
The Yorkshire bell is the boat that does the trips for the tourists and locals. The establishment you passed that had the scaffolding up has an indoor area for kids to play safely.
The leisure centre were the is water shoots. Popular for children too.
The amusement arcade you looked at The forum. Has 3 screen cinama. A full size ten pin bowing and a soft play area for children.
Jhon bull has a factory making the rock close by.
You can have a tour. There is the animal park in that area too. Great place for kids
You didn't look at Sewerby Hall it has a small zoo. A big house and walled gardens. The grounds are free in winter and with the snow drops comming up lovey to walk around. Or the Old town. A Georgian Street full of antique shops. 6 pubs. Cafés coffee shop and art galleries. Bridlington has something for everyone.
Your vidio didn't even cover the half of it.
Places to stay are varied too. There are lots of caravan sites in and around Bridlinton. Lots of lovely b&bs where the owners have pride in their places. Small hotels
A Premier and apartment and houses to let by the week. Whatever you want from a holiday you can find it here. The sun can not be guaranteed but then when it does shine its even better.
Hi Pat,
Thank you for all this amazing information, I wish I could have spoken to you before hand or you could have even been on my video , it would have been great telling everyone all this information. I must put more effort in learning a bit more about places because I visit, but I have a terrible memory and always forget things, I do take my friend with me normally and she is very good at learning about the places, but she is away at the moment.
Anyway I do hope you enjoyed my video and had a good laugh, I really enjoyed visiting Bridlington and maybe one day I hope to come back to do some more filming and maybe have some help from you if you was up for that.
Have a great year and roll on the summer,
Warm regards
NeilR 🙏👍😎

Love Bridlington we have 3 hols booked for 2024 , super dog friendly which is a must for us , lovely friendly people and great places to eat we could live there quite easily
Apart for whitby mainly Bridlington was our holiday destination in 80s especially south shore holiday camp loved it . But it was great because you could easily vist filey scarborough robins hood bay . Flamborough whitby northwards and Hornsea skipsea southwards for day trips
Absolutely love Brid
People are so friendly
The beach up at the South Shore is stunning
We stay in a chalet up that way
Best fish n chips for us have been Audreys, Naked Fish and theres also one on the harbour near the statue you were next to thats great. In that blue bit. North Bay that you walked past.
Deep Blue alao decent
Great day out, loved it, I have done a fish and chip review at Busy Bees near the harbour which will be out Thursday night, which was really good 👍
My big lad took me for my very first visit to brid a couple of years ago, lovely place also Scarborough, think he’s doing me a bucket list!
Best chippies in Brid - Audrey's and, at the North Bay, the North Beach fisheries at the end of North Marine promenade. Bridlington's 'old town' is worth a visit.
I'm off there tomorrow I'm from Scunthorpe am going to hop on a train and go explore for the day and go for a pint
Have a great time 😎🙏👍
the pirate ship sails just about everyday weather permitting ,its only a short trip of 10 minutes mainly for the kids ,did it once with my adult daughter neither of us liked it much ,prefer the old lady of Bridlington ,THE YORKSHIRE BELLE .Speedboats were either £4-50 ||£5-00 last time i was here .
Always stay at beaconsfield apartments when we stay in brid lovely place ,love brid great memories ,by the way in your intro you called brid whitby four times haha
Omg I can not believe I’ve done that, I didn’t even notice, what a donut I am, I wonder how many more people will comment, oh well 🤓
I’ve just managed to edit the Whitby bits out, should be ok in a few hours, thanks you for letting me know, must have add a brain fart that day and night when I was editing.
I hope I didn’t spoiled the video too much, and the lovely place of Bridlington. 🙏👍
In grew up in Bridlington in the '50's. The only area I criticize today is the noisy ugly fun-fair, where there used to be green lawns, flower beds and wooden benches. Which would you prefer I wonder?
Loads of people from Bradford live here
Have you been to Bempton Cliffs & Flamborough? I've stayed @ Bridlington 3 x now. I've stayed in the single room at Longcroft Lodge twice: nice people but they are sadly selling up now. They only do weekends & they stopped serving breakfast now. Bridlington is perfect for Bempton. I'd recommend the Yorkshire Belle trips to Bempton.
Great vlog, Pete was born in Bridlington 😊 they’ve started to build that new McDonalds in skeg 😊
That will be handy for us 🤣 are you going to do a video on it being done
@@neilrgreatestadventures apparently it’s not going to have a drive through, no I’ll stick to holiday vlogs 😊
We have been going to Brighton for twenty five years
?
Brid is ok, not my favourite along the Yorkshire coast but it’s still nice. Much prefer North Yorkshire (Scarborough and Whitby) than the East Ridings. Great video all the same though.
Will you be in Bridlington same time as we are there in May Neil R Greatest Adventures?
No sorry I don’t think so I was only visiting for the day to make a video for CZcams, I will probably be going back but probably later in the summer.
😎👍
@@neilrgreatestadventures How about Whitby same question but Whitby?
