HOW TO FIX YOUR TRAIL 125 THROTTLE! | 2021 Honda CT-125 Throttle Grip Freeplay Adjustment

The first thing I noticed about my new 2021 Honda Trail 125 Hunter Cub was an uncomfortable amount of throttle grip freeplay. This isn't an issue when you're riding at wide-open-throttle, but when you're working around the yard or farm, this is terribly annoying as it seems to make the bike "jumpy". To make matters worse, I often ride with my two kids onboard, and sometimes let them control the throttle to learn how to ride. Having this play in the grip was a death sentence in this scenario!
This is very easy to do and I highlight it in the video. Two open end 10mm wrenches and finding the right spot by turning the cable adjuster with your fingers is all you need. I did it with the bike running to ensure I didn't cause a raise in the idle RPM's.
