My pleasure, guys. I didn't get to go to the Westfjords and the Highlands last time. I did the Ring Road because It was my so-called "maiden voyage" 🙂 and I only had 13 days to tour the island. I'm also looking into Peru and the famous Machu Pichu site. I love to travel and the world is a big place and there is so much to see. Have a great time and please be safe. sounds like you had a great trip in Iceland but next time you go, Westfjords and Highlands are pretty cool to include :) and Peru and Machu Pichu are excellent choices, we would love to see it as well! Let us know if you go and safe travels to you as well!! @@HarryOsirian
yes, it was pretty easy but we skipped Sapporo and mostly drove around the country. We only used highway the last day driving to the airport. Just a quick tip - some gas stations don't open until 8 am, which we learned the hard way and almost missed our flight 😀

I'm thinking of driving too because of Cape Kamui. Is it easy to drive in Hokkaido for an American?
