  • In this video, we explore the reasons behind a recent decision by EV Giant Tesla to lay off 10% of its workforce. I do a deep dive into the complexities of the automotive sector and analyze factors such as shifting consumer demand, economic pressures, technological advancements, restructuring initiatives, and external influences like regulatory changes and geopolitical tensions. We gain insights into why layoffs become a necessary but challenging strategy for automakers striving to adapt and thrive amidst ongoing industry transformations particularly forced on by the EV mandate.

@02:09 - This is a chance for consumers to transition away from Electric and back to ICE"
Everyone knows, at least at some level, how wrong this statement is. However, as someone who drives a Model S 80 miles (160 round trip) to work every day sometimes through the worst traffic imaginable, I appreciate the depths of the absurdity of what this guy's wishing for.
Teslas aren't cars. Stop comparing them to cars. They're Roswell-level alien technology. ICEs are not even close to being competition, and their manufacturers learned this the hard way.

I mean, I think a big issue with tesla is gatekeeping repairs. With no obd access, it makes it nearly impossible to service your electric car.
