These slower songs hit so different but better. I love the screaming at the end all the different emotions. I sent my best friend this song to listen to as a suggestion and later that week he was killed. Last song I tried to put him on be both loved the boy$ their music means so much to me.
yeah Tom this is a really chill $b song. it’s great for night drives!! 🥰 it’s cool how you’re so well versed in $b now. like you even know the deep cuts. you’ve seen them twice, you’ve met them. you’re literally one of us now🤗 and we couldn’t be happier to have you. as someone who struggles with mental illness, and knowing how much $b has helped me, to see you smile while you listen to these songs, it makes my heart so happy in a way i can’t explain.
rover truck means RAnge rover. the car brand. And in one of their new songs he says ... I got like 6 whips i dont need the keys to the rover truck, anymore.
hey reaction therapy! you should react to the song, "$Hrimp Poboy" by the Boy$! it's off of the same album Grey/Gray and it's definitely a good listen, it's such a calming song!
I just found this song recently and I love to yell/sing “let me get the keys to the rover truck” during both the parts Ruby sings it ❤ great reaction as usual, love the channel. I’m happy ever since I found your channel about a year ago after searching for “therapist reacts to $uicideboy$” on CZcams. I was curious if (before I enter the field myself since I’m in counseling grad school) I could find a therapist that likes $boys like me!!! 😅😊
@@jelaylacastillo794 personally, I feel like they talk about very relatable subjects and types of pain that a lot of people go through. Music can be so therapeutic, and I feel like their music is no exception. The way I see it, it warns others of the dangers of depression, drug use, and SI, and does not encourage it, as some people have probably tried to say 🙄 I know that also for me personally, I relate to a lot of their struggles, some in the present and some in the past, and feeling representation and less alone is a very important feeling to have when someone is struggling with the darkness. On top of that, at their concerts scrim makes a point of telling people that g59 is a family, and that if you’re struggling, you should seek some kind of professional help. I feel like this is valuable, as he has a large platform and he’s using it for good to further healing and treatment. Overall, I don’t know if I’ve ever found any artists (both scrim and Ruby) that quite articulates what it’s like to struggle with mental health issues and addiction issues, and I think that is important for those of us who feel the very real feelings of isolation that comes from experiencing those issues. I hope this helps! It was a bit long, but I’m always happy to talk about how the boy$ have helped me and how I feel that they help others. Let me know if you have any other questions!
oh my goodness mr therapy this actually has to be one of my top 5 tracks from the boys im so glad you're coming around to checking it out ! i'd recommend shrimp poboy , another good track from the same album as #1 stunna 😎
#1 stunna is a reference to lil wayne. Lil wayne and young money were absolutely massive in new orleans and the boys have talked about lil waynes influence and how much they fucked with lil wayne. "Ever since scrim gave me that lil wayne cd its still up in my boom box"
I would love to see you and $uicideboy$ watch a video together. Btw this EP is from 2015, it was after Black $uicide: side A, these were the first 2 EPs after the first 10 parts of the Kill yourself EP series
