    I already have burnt scienna . Do I add purple to it to make a dark scienna. Tried to byuy a tube of dark scienna but my Michaels does not have this. Thank You.

      You can try adding violet or purple to darken burnt sienna. You’re welcome.

    Would you mind me asking what palette are you using? I hope I could buy one so that lesser paint are wasted while mixing. Because acrylics tend to dry on the palette making the amount lesser while you mix.

      I’m using a ceramic tile as palette. We had few pieces at home after renovation. But it is heavy, cannot hold in hand while painting. Better options are light weight ceramic plates and glass palettes with smoothened edges.

      You can use water or acrylic thinner. I don’t think regular paint thinner is good for acrylics.
