He had a bout scheduled against Steven Thompson (currently #9), but he missed the weight, and Thompson legitimately refused the fight.
Also, he never expressed any kind of title ambition, he just wants to be a showman, which is respectable (as long as he respects his opponents and does the effort to actually make weight...)
