- Today I show you guys the most notorious thing any eBay seller can do ... weigh a Pokemon Booster Pack. Weighing a Pokemon Booster pack is determining the weight of a Booster to see if it's heavier than the others and will contain a EX or just a regular rare Pokemon Card.

Other way around for me, got tin and got nothing, bought a pack online then got a rainbow secret rare blaziken 🤷🏼♂️

Be careful where you buy from. Make sure wherever it is, it is listed or labeled as a SEALED product. Otherwise there could have been tampering with the packs.

It is just sad to see people do this to much older sets as well. With some boosters climbing over $100 each, its pure robbery to buy a weighed pack.

Extrizon yeah whenever I buy cards I either go to big stores like smyths. My local comic store who i k doesn't scam or if I do order online I don't get loose packs and I always get from a reliable source. Magic madhouse, chaos cards etc.

Weighing still works, unbroken bonds was weighable.
Basically you have 3-4 values the cards will always meet. The two values that show up the most often are gonna be your holos/non holos.
Let's say (19.22g) and (19.11) Respectively. These are hard to differentiate, as the code cards make up for them.
But who gives a fuck about holos? The real shit are the full arts/secret rares. These ones are absolutely fucked, usually having two wildly different weights (They're actually LIGHTER than holo/non holo packs) around 18.66 in my experience.

Let me just say, my dad weighed packs during the earlier part of B&W, and resold the unopened packs. We were pretty good until my dad decided it costed too much

pack weighing was fixed from sun and moon. you cant pack weigh anymore so everything is fair

Me and my friends used to all trade Pokemon cards and have fun but now we have gotten older and they say that trading Pokémon cards is for little kids. I’m the only one that still trades Pokemon cards. I always have to do it in secret XD

not had any issues buying packs off ebay bought 32 loose ultra prism packs and pulled a gold solgaleo and a full art cynthia
What you need is something that sits entirely on the scale like a cup you can sit them in or on. Then zero it out before putting the pack on it
I did this on a stream with about 25 packs all mix sets and they ranged from 21.10-22.36 and had no significance with pulls to weight. Good video keep it up brotha. There is a vintage pokemon auction coming up online with alot of booster packs!! If u want the info lmk.

Tins can not be weighed. They may be proxy or displayable cards. Make sure to check the description. Sorry for the late reply. :D

When I go to the pokemon isle in a store I'll try to feel which packs are heavier and the first time I did it, it worked and I got a dawn wings Necrozma! I don't know how rare it is but for my first ever pack I think it's pretty good.
...AND THIS KIDS... is why you never buy loose packs on Ebay. Buy them from boxes or at least interrogate the seller and ask them whether or not they are weighed. Tell them that you are going to open them and if you don't find a single holo, you will report the seller and give them negative feedback. Most sellers are not gonna short change you since they do not wanna get bad business so they will give you the cards accordingly. This really only works with buying bulk amounts though, as your chances are you will always get a few rares, thus the seller will feel the need to give you some rares since you stated you were going to open them. It's a controlled environment though, which puts the normal odds of 1 out of 3 in the sellers favor and this is something you can't really tell. Even the most reputable sellers can sometimes manipulate odds by giving you 2 packs with Holos in them and 10 without in order to avoid suspicion but still keep odds in thier favor. This will always be true when it comes to collecting and is one of the many reasons i don't normally buy Vintage loose packs. It just isn't worth the trouble and i try to save for the box, even though it might cost a bit more than 36 individual packs. Always shop smart kids when collecting and buying boosters.

I appreciate your video not because you taught the community how to weigh booster packs, but proved to me that weighing booster packs is useless.

Normal rare: less heavy
Good cards + the light code card= Normal rare plus heavy code card.👍
So to compromise for the heaviness of the “good cards”they put a lighter code card. And because the normal rare will be less heavy they will add a heavier code card then in the good pack.

I know it sounds stupid but when you do something on an iPad like click a button meaning you are using pressure so I was just thinking what if they designed a scale on an iPad or phone because you can put for instance a booster pack on it and see the result that way but usually you can’t do that I’ve tried and it seems to only pickup and pen with a stiles sorry for my grammar or your finger touching the screen
By adding the all green code card, you increase the weight due to the ink and print. The white code cards are lighter but contain a rare card. This is why there is different code cards based on the rare cards. The white code card does not need more ink and therefore are less.

People do worse than weigh, they're now opening taking out the good cards and returning the packs at places like walmart and target resealed so anyone who spends there hard earned money gets an extra energy in their pack.....smh
Walmart sells sleeved, booster packs. More expensive. I have a source where I get unweighted packs at 3.25
