3:14 How spot on you were (even before Edgar became meta, people were getting annoyed by Piper). She got a damage buff in September, along with a Homemade Recipie nerf (homing bullet gadget), so people started using Auto Aimer more, and because of that damage buff, she deals way more damage with the gadget than before, and is very easy to do. All you do is green button, red button, red button. Everything after the gadget is guaranteed to hit.
It honestly feels like a reasonable correlation. I always used it over homemade recipe cuz having an emergency get away button that isn't a super is good but I could never get the range down. But now everyone is using it it feels more like a realisation issue rather than a need for a nerf. If a nerf is needed just decrease the gadget's range by like 0.5-1 tile and your golden
And she got a 200 damage buff to her main attack. What makes it really is 200 damage buff to all ranges
I hate to see piper getting hate but its reasonable because damn wtf is 1st gadget of hers it pushes her enemies , slows them and get 0.4 ammo back like what??!!
That 1st gadget is basically a free kill.

5:27 is actually a terrible idea bc Brawl Star's small dev team will NEVER balance all 4 star powers for each brawler and also currently half of star powers and gadgets are unusable/worse than their alternative so we basically have 1 star power and 1 gadget for many brawlers right now.
Like they said in a podcast, "we still didn't make all second gadgets and SPs good or relevant, and people want third already". And i agree, for example, who tf uses Brock's fourth rocket or Bonnie's tooth SP?

I can only see it being decent in solo showdown to counter assassins, in any other situation you will rarely have full ammo charged and even when you will, this will be a +1 ammo for a whole fight, so you'll have like 13 ammo instead of 12. In order to use it frequently Brock needs a higher reload speed
More rockets aren't super good either, but at least they make Brock's super more devastating especially against enemy heists

Piper has become insane because of her dominance from both long and short range.

What i feel is weird about gadgets and star powers (less gadgets though) is that they arent creative enough, even sometimes similar in some kind of way? for example jacky has an sp that denies 20% of all incoming damage, and her other sp is dealing a percentage of the incoming damage she recieves in a zone around her, both include "incoming damage" i think that sp's should change a brawler's gameplay in general to make it less of a "which is better" and more of a "which is better in this situation"
Of course some of the brawlers are fine here but the majority isnt.
I think people just hate the fact that other people r now bringing piper in spinny mode and use 4 slow gadgets
100% true, they hating on it so they get nerfed, to make their dumbahh life easier in solo showndown (since the ppl hating on her are probably very bad at the game + only tryhards would love to play in solo showndown because of the difficulty against teamers, it's not even a good gamemode to start with)

For hypercharge, we already have a mythic(buzz) epic(belle) and whatever the new brawler will be, i think we can definitly expect one for the other rarities, my predictions are: sandy(legendary) rico(superrare) and poco(rare), i think poco and el primo are the last 2 rares without one so its kinda 50/50

The reason Stu is mentioned as a top 10 is because of the skill cap he has. Stu is a high potential brawler meaning he can play like an S tier but also play like a B or C tier. His kit in my opinion is a high B or low A tier but nothing worth nerfing.

Btw yes, imo piper should receive a nerf to both star powers (1st damage from 1190 to 960 and 2nd reload from 0.4 to 0.3), unload speed nerf and a first gadget nerf so she doesnt get a guaranteed shot.
I'm sure that Piper doesn't directly need a balance change, it's more wich brawlers are at the top of the meta
being for example she was bad when the hypercharges came out (hence the buff), and now she is strong because she counters several top brawlers, which I think that when the next hypercharges come out she will be used less

Idk I think this is a ladder skill issue. Haven’t seen a single pro player say she’s even top 10 let alone nerfworthy… I think people are just angry that autoaimer counters assassins (very popular brawlers) Piper still gets incredibly overwhelmed by strong midrange picks and anything that has spawnables (Charlie mainly)

She didnt get a buff per say but im pretty sure her ambush starpower got balanced up after power 12. Its just people are only now mentioning it lol.

Tbh fang is not brain dead, it has the longest shot delay ever (0.75 whole seconds, the second highest belongs to some sharpshooters which is around 0.6). Also cuz it doesn’t have auto super charge and super fast movement speed like most close range brawlers… it’s kinda hard to charge the super.

the star power thing i think theres a some sort of ability to make the star powers the brawler has combined
Stu’s good in the meta cuz of hypercharges. More aggression = More free supers for stu. Good stu players can actually pop off and become unkillable with the amount of supers they have. However, A below average stu player can’t really make it work cuz stu’s high skill cap (plus stu doesn’t have a very high damage output, if you get cornered by like triple hypercharges there’s no way in heck ur making it out)
2:56 well beacuse stu is made way back in season 5 Starr force,janet and Bonnie were added later in 2022, reason why stu doesn't mention them, preety mush as ash, belle, buzz and even some older brawlers don't mention their trio members
If what happened at 5:30 was in brawl stars we would get more get more star powers and gadgets out of star drops and I think we get enough cancelled brawlers from the 1 item you get out of Starr drops

1. Stu is definetly top 10 whoever says something different is delusional, you literally can escape any Hypercharge activation by constantly dahing and he barely has any counters.
2. Piper got a damage buff a couple of months ago in combination with Nani making them the go-to snipers and since the gagdet gear exists she acctually kind counters assasins with 4 pushbacks
