It's weird how for every Orioles fan Gunnar is pretty clearly our best player, but everyone else thinks it's Adley.
Gunnar is a f*cking monster. I'd be shocked if he doesn't win a MVP during his career.
There’s a few players better than Adley on the Os like Gunnar , Cowser , and Westburg. Maybe even Mullins.
As an O's fan I'd say Adley IS our best player. He's not our best hitter, no, but the value provided by a very good defensive catcher who is also a good hitter is incredibly hard to match.
@@bennelson6207 Adley is incredibly valuable, but Gunnar is just so damn good offensively, defensively and as a baserunner. It's really impossible to decide who's better, just glad they're both O's.
Its not hard to understand. Adley isnt as good of a hitter. But the catcher is the most important position on the field. And hes one if the best one and he helps his pitchers a ton. And hes still a hell of a good hitter. It's no wonder the orioles started winning right after Adley was called up

The Marlins’ problem is that the offense is good when the pitching is bad and vice versa. We cannot win games when one side doesn’t come through. We give up tons of runs in the late innings and that never helps either.

Not true. Chances of landing on the cubs twice in a row is, because the first spin is 1/30 for that spin too. To simply match the two spins, the first one could be anything, and there is a 1/30 of matching with the second

@@makattack930 no it’s not. The first spin could be anything. Doesn’t matter. The chance that the second one matches is one in 30. If you guess a SPECIFIC team, and say they are going to land twice in a row, then that chance is 1/900 because both spins must be specific to that.
Let me make a simple example.
“I bet that these next two spins will be cubs” - 1/900
Next scenario is after you rolled one, let’s say the Yankees. Rolling a matching team is 1/30 because the FIRST spin DOESNT MATTER

Burnes not being the best player on the Os is a crime
It's Gunnar everyday and twice on Sundays. XBH machine and is an animal on defense, he's also like top 3 for all of the MLB in hard hit ball rate. Corbin is great dont get me wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if Gunnar is in the top 3 for AL MVP conversation by seasons end.
