- Florida Sportsman DProjec Deamboat kicks off the 2021 season premiere with the experts at Two Rivers Boatworks exploring their creative side, taking on a custom retrofit of a brand-new poling skiff. To kick off the project, Dave at Rocky Point Boat Worx builds a one-off dash panel to bring this TRB Customs skiff over the top; FS Boating Editor George LaBonte joins Capt. Ed Zyak aboard his completely rebuilt 22’ Kenner for a day of fishing in Stuart, FL. Then, the team at Wildfire Marine tears into resurrecting and transforming a classic 25’ Bertram.
Follow Season Six of Florida Sportsman Project Dreamboat into the very heart of Stuart, Florida.
We’re setting a course for the Dreamboat District. This unassuming, half-square-mile set along Commerce Avenue houses some of the world’s leading builders of custom sportfishing boats: Jim Smith, Garlington, L&H Boats, Billy Knowles, Willis Marine and Gamefisherman. Here, also, are expert fabricators, installers, marine engine and parts dealers and custom accessory manufacturers.
If you can dream it, and it floats, your dream can become a reality here.
Blair Wickstrom, publisher of Florida Sportsman, went on to say, “You can tune in each week and follow exciting, cutting-edge work at three different builders in the Dreamboat District: L&H Boats, Wildfire Marine and Stuart Boat Works. But, expect side projects to bring you into many of the custom shops in the District.
You’ll learn tips from the experts on maintaining or improving your own boat, or you’ll learn refit solutions that may lead you to embarking on your own dreamboat project.” Or simply dip your toes into southeast Florida’s deep reservoir of boat-building history and innovation. From flats boats to center consoles to sportfishers, from rags to riches or straight off the drawing board, the dreams just keep getting better.
Continuing into season six of Florida Sportsman Project Dreamboat will be the One Man’s Dreamboat feature hosted by Florida Sportsman Boating Editor George LaBonte. He’ll visit with anglers who have already completed their dreams, digging into the answers behind their decisions. - Sport
Glad it’s finally back.
I had a 1998 Kenner 21VX tunnel bay boat. It was an awesome, very capable in shallow or open water chop. I'll always have boats, but will never forget that one.
THANK YOU FOR COMING BACK.
glad to see this shows back!
Haven’t seen the show in a while, fixing up my boat has suffered too, due to lack of motivation. After seeing this, I’m gonna be working on the boat today!! Thanks guys!
About time it's back on missed this show
I always look forward to these updates 👍👍.
Glad to see you back! Really enjoy the show. Looking forward to seeing the bracket/power installed on the 25 Bertram.
Just found this channel and subscribed! I have to say that I'm really impressed!
Glad you're back on, I enjoy the show.

Welcome back guys missed your video’s
What a beautiful boat!
Nice new show... that Kenner is sweet!
love the steal your face sticker on the air compressor, that emblem is on my shirt that i am wearing right now but 14" large on a 5xl long
They're back!!!!
Awesome video and love that skimmer skiff. Cant wait till Bobby’s done with mine.
I have looked at all kinds of skiff and keep coming back to the Skimmer Skiff. Which model are you getting, the 16 or 14 and what kind of back log do they have now?
@@kenshamrock7395 I went with the 16’6 for my build. I spent a lot of time looking at different skiffs and the skimmer is unbeatable when it comes to features and finish for the price. It was 7 months wait for me. Bobby builds an awesome boat.
I think I want you guys to build me a 20' skiff like the one on this video! Great work!
buy whaler 21
Oh yeah it's back on baby.... about time... tired of watching news on Covid... 👍👍
Love the shock your head sticker at 9:53! At least Im enjoying the ride!
Finally, The Best show is back on!!!
This would be a sick rig for my local river
I missed something, not commercials but the Dream boat build, where did it go?
Finally!
Great to see you guys back!!
Not sure I agree …not sure how many people will drop 100k for a skiff maybe something a little bigger like a 22 to 24 flats or bay boat
luguña 24 cabin cruser oarker 2320 is uñder 10000
Don’t live in Florida don’t have a boat can’t swim you know I’m a subscriber;)
Where can I get a platform tower like the one on the Kenner?
What's the name of the color on the skimmer skiff?
Ok where is this weeks video lol great show wish they would make them a little longer and more episodes.. kind of liked it better with one builder seem like there was more details and in-site into the actual work
Yeah! So glad it's back. I've yet to watch it but maybe MCU will be back?
And just finished watching it and no MCU. Still good stuff, keep it coming FS!
Lmao I use to be a cake designer “lead designer” I believe it
I’m wondering if there’s a videos for the boat @1:38
Was the motor on Ed’s boat free?
sangat keren... 👍
🇯🇲👊😎
Can I fish the inlet with it???? ;)
He spent 20k fixing that boat? That 200 Yamaha motor alone is 20k. Trolling moter , tower, electronics, seadeck and other custom stuff there’s no fuckin way.
Got any idea where he got the platform tower from? I have Kenner and I am thinking about doing the same
An outboard on the back of a deck I find these boats utterly useless but hey, some people think ultra flats are the thang!
Hm yes engine with a side of boat.
Yamaha engine is number one...
yes ther merçy number 2 hinda ñumber ³
not impress they have the tool and there professionals
Uses Carpenter’s tape measure,…no. Get a Starrett or some other precision rule. Wow, cut’s plastic without a mask.
That lexan work was a joke
