@SmithaDepak Smitha, can you please share what level you used on your upper lip with the Ulike? I've only used the level one and I think I have more hair than before. I used level 3 in other areas and it worked, but not on my lip. I'm afraid to use above level one because even with my eyes closed and the glasses on, and my hand on top of the glasses over my closest eye, I still see the light flashes.
@smithaDepak Is this device available in India?
@@poojawahi2639 no it's not. You can buy braun. It has good reviews as well
I have watched more than 20 videos on this and finally something concise and informative enough! Thanks!
My wife asked this for christmas and I've been wonder what the hell it is, and found your really helpful videos, so I just ordered it with your code, thanks a ton for a great quality video!
Been searching one for my wife. Found this video very helpful. Thank you for your efforts. Appreciated.
I am glad you made this video, is so informative.
I don't have this device, but another, similar one, also with cooling technology. I used it consistently for about a month, and definitely see results! I have only done my lower legs so far, but I can now go weeks without seeing regrowth, and the hair that is there is so fine that I can feel it a little, but not see it. I wish this technology had existed years ago, would have saved me so much shaving time, and also freed me from nicks and cuts!
Your so pretty :) I am using the Monsia Silk Series Pro and it works well for me even with light hair, and love no pain because of the ice cooling🥰
I love this product!!! It works and takes no time at all to use it. So you can fit this in your busy schedule
Thanks! It was pretty helpful.
Thank for this video!!you are amazing!!😘🫶
Thank you for this tutorial! It’s answered so many questions I have already had! I look forward to the results! You are a great teacher! And after working in the hair industry this makes sense! I am assuming when you say to not use it too close to your eyes, you mean where the light is shown? Otherwise I guess I will find out when I use it other areas, where the results will appear and go from that to determine my decision? Can you elaborate?
Totally pain free!!
Just ordered mine! Thank you for the tips and info!
how do you find it?
Thanks for this video Diii❤ you are amazing
My pleasure 😊
Great video! Most of the videos I've seen are like 20 mins of talking & 30 sec of using the IPL. Thank you!
Thank you! 💜
I have this too and am beginning my journey. It does not hurt at all!
I'm so glad you say so. I love the ice cooling technology, I think that was the biggest selling point for me!! IPL with no pain!!
@@SmithaDepaktell us about your skincare in upcoming video plz
Can you do I video on post skincare after IPL? Can you use facial serums like Niacinamide if you have hyperpigmentation you want to treat?
definitely thorough video. although i never get excited about these hair removing devices b/c they dont have the technology(yet) to accommodate black melanated skin but enjoyed you reviewing it.
I recommend watching Dr. Alexis Stephens' channel here on CZcams, she's a board certified dermatologist who covers skincare for melanated skin and this includes laser hair removal methods!
@@DoomMetalPrincess451 thank you and headed RIGHT on over! very much appreciated and thanks again!
Thanks
Very nice video Smitha! Have a nice day and good week! 👍👏🤩🤩🤩
Thank you! You too!
@@SmithaDepak Thanks Smitha! 🤩🤩🤩
Do you do just one pass or do u go over the same area.? I normally do like 2 mins per area. I go over the areas twice.
i got this for myself and they sent me an email after i purchased it, tells us to go over the area 2x each session, i havent seen mention of this anywhere
Here is a quick Q&A to get you started:
1. How often should I use the device?
It's recommended to use it every other day for the first 4 weeks and then once every two weeks or once a month from weeks 5-12. Make sure to pass over each area of the skin 2 times, and please remember consistency is key for the best results.
2. Before using it, what should I know?
1). Use a razor and foam to shave off the hair one day before treatment. This will help the light reach the hair follicles more effectively and reduce any discomfort during the treatment.
2). Avoid treatments on dark spots, open wounds, scars, moles, acne, tattoos, or any sensitive areas on your skin.
3. What is the proper way to use the device?
1). Keep the device plugged in and connected to a power device while using.
2). Make sure the treatment window is flat on the skin and completely covers the treatment area to ensure the skin detection light turns on. Then press the treatment button to activate a flash.
3). Hold down the treatment button to activate the AutoGlide Mode.
4. What type of things do I need to do for after-care?
1). We recommend applying body lotion or aloe vera gel to the skin(Avoid any skincare products that contain alcohol).
2). Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight after treatments.
Thank you!!! I've been looking for this info everywhere! I tried nood and they say go over the area 2-3 times per session but now I just bought ulike and there's no mention. So weird. But thanks again!
@@airceli23
how do you find it?
Can you use on freckles?
Do you go over the lasered area multiple times during a session?
I have this device and the cooling system feels nice and cool for abt 1 minute and then as the laser heats up, you don’t feel it.
I've been using this device for almost a year now and it is the best money I have ever spent. I wish I had this years ago. It's basically already paid for itself with how much money I've saved from not having to wax anymore.
Did this device tighten or lighten your skin on your face at all?
A year? Does it really take that long?
@MandiKaye No, it starts working after a few uses but you need to continually use it. After a few months you only need to use it about once a month to maintain your results.
My one of tha most favourite CZcamsr❤❤❤❤
💓💓💓
Smitha, do you go higher than level one on your face? Im concerned for my eyes even wearing the glasses since they aren't as tight as goggles.
I've just ordered the ulike. I have considered other IPL devices but this with the discount is good value. I have quite dark hair on my face & arms. I tried the no-no which was not great & in my opinion just like shaving. I like the reduction of hair & will be happy with less. The maintenance program is really good too. Looking forward to getting my device & seeing the results.

From which website
Mam ,for the second round,do we need to focus on only those hair stubbles which are visible only ,or we need to do the entire face even those areas where hair has not grown ... please answer
Hi. Pls give an update. Did this device work for you?
Hi smitha? Can u tell if this can b used in Pakistan or India do they have to get a separate plug?
Does it damage the skin? I have sensitive underarm skin and I don't want it to turn dark.
How many times do you pass the ulike on the same spot during one session?
I got my VEVOR IPL with cold therapy device yesterday. I put the dark glasses on that came with my device and I can’t see anything because they are so dark. How do you see what you’re doing?
do i have to put sunscreen even if i am doing the treatment at night?
Like after doing the treatment at night do i apply sunscreen??
How long do you treat each area , how many flashes per area ? Does not really say anywhere
Can you please ask company to start shipping to India too.
Can it be used for a Brazilian?
Great video.
Thanks!💓💓💓

Isn't it for professional use? Are we all gonna know how to use this? Does it work for sensitive skin?
Can u do aria kpop inspired makeup
Thanks for the amazing discount!!! I’m giving it a go!! I’m a big fan of laser but really struggle with the high cost and visits to the salon…
You are so welcome!
What cost
They don’t work on dark skin or light hair at this point, unfortunately. Even the pros can’t get rid of blonde fuzz
@3:50 patch test, did u flash ur wrist for 8 times for the patch test? 😨
WHY ARE THEY NOT SHIPPING IN INDIA??? 😭😭😭😭

Can we use to our female parts🐱(V)?
love from Bangladesh ❤️❤️
💓💓💓
hi- did you notice any issue with hyperpigmentation? Indian here, with medium skin and dark hair. Thanks Smitha
I didn’t 💓
Do we need to shave the area each time before use?
Can I used it right after I shave or do I need to wait minutes or hours first??
Do you have to use this everyday? Or several times a week?
Not, not every day. There's a chart that's provided but in weeks 1-4 you treat 3 times per week, weeks 5-8 treat 2 times per week & finally weeks 9-12 treat 1-2 per month.
I’ve used it. It’s great. I won’t say it’s pain free especially near the Cochie…😂
I’m so tired of the debate about whether it’s pain free or not 😩 I’m getting one soon for my birthday and I just don’t get how there isn’t a real consensus about how it feels lol. Guess I’ll find out!
@@MyHam-os4bqI agree with that above the sensitive areas hurt on the highest mode. Mostly if I missed a hair. But first mode no pain.
@@dansfav226 oh ok I’ll start on the sensitive mode for the sensitive parts. Just got mine today lol. Thanks!
@@MyHam-os4bqor make sure you shaved correctly. If there's stubble then it can hurt.
@@MyHam-os4bqHave you tried it out? How's it going?
Hello, I have PCOS and I guess my hair growth will come under harmonal but can I still use it ? I used to have laser treatment but haven’t had any sessions since my diagnosis
Why not? PCOS patients usually use laser to remove unwanted hair…
Did you ever get the Ulike Air? If so, how's it going?
Yes. They say hormonal hair is more stubborn but it will still eventually work. I have seen amazing results on my arms and legs. I have not had it very long just over a month I believe. So I fully believe I will be hair free eventually based on how great it has done on my arms and legs so far
I wonder if I've already done ipl at a medspa and jus want to get this for touchups should I stick to the once a month use?
it depends on how much of your hair has grown back. If you don't have hair and just see peach fuzz growing back once a while, you can use this for maintenance once a month.
@@SmithaDepak yess, jus a lil fuzz in a small section, thanks for replying, I think I'll buy one, love your vids! 🥰🥰🥰
But does it work in dark skin ? Because there are a few "good" ones that don't work for dark skin individuals.
Ok never mind. It would not lol. Saw the shade chart. Shaving will continue
I was curious as well, and this is why it doesn’t work if you’re interested.. while IPL treatment is an easy, effective hair removal method for some, it
unfortunately isn't suitable for darker tones of skin. This is because melanin pigments aren't just in our hair - they're also present in the skin, too. Darker skin contains more melanin than fair skin.
Ulike just released air 10 and they claim it can work on dark skin and fair skin
No. IPL and Laser hair removal does not work effectively on dark skin tones.
Hi. My daughter is only 14 and she have lots of hair on sideburn because of PCOS. Can she use this device on her face and armpit?
Yes. I have one and it is absolutely worth it. It is working great
Can you thread instead of shaving? It doesn't remove the hair from the follicle...
I would say no. Anything that could "pluck" hair is a no. The hair has to be under the skin for this to work. You would be wasting your time essentially
But this thing has worked for me
I have done my arms completely and part of my legs and in a little over a month I am shocked at how little hair I have. I went from having dark hair on my arms to nothing but the tiniest peach fuzz in about four weeks
It is worth it to shave because after using this eventually you should never have to shave again one day
How does it work on the face?
❤❤❤
Whether it can effective for dark skin?
Not for too darker skin.
Have any of you used this for dark terminal hair on the face? What has been your experience?
It is available in India ?
No but braun is available for 26k
Can ipls be used over breast...or is it risky?
You can use it over breast/chest skin, just not the areola or nipple. Basically skin; from their website: "not suitable for the ‘inner parts of the bikini area. Therefore you should never use it on the labia minora, vagina, scrotum, or anus."
Can i use on my eyebrows? Instead of Plucking my eyebrows I think I can use IPL and forever remove the hair
Don't even try it can damage your eyes. There is a reason they include special glasses with the device to do IPL
👍
💓💓💓
Does level 3 hurts ? Or pinch sensation?
I've done IPL at a medspa and it feels kind of similar to a rubber band popping on your skin, nothing too severe, the ulike is probably about the same. Idk if the ulike laser is as strong as a professional one, so maybe even less painful than that
Does not hurt at all. I was expecting some type of pain, but nothing. I did however experience the rubber band popping when I accidentally went over a corner of my tattoo! I just have to slow down & maneuver more carefully around the tattoos on my legs. Hope that helps!
I read the donts and it said to not put on lotion before using
Does it work on white hair?
I’ve been using this for over two months and it’s slowed down hair growth but there’s still tiny hairs left, does anyone know if that eventually goes away please?
Yes it does.
@@DiosaDe1So1 thank youuu I was getting really worried cos it looks a bit strange
@@magdaj5157 No problems, Hun. It starts off patchy, but from my own experience, the hair eventually stopped growing 😁. It really depends if it's light coloured hair, or if it's dark hair. Usually only works on darker hairs though, so keep that in mind.
@@DiosaDe1So1 yeah mine was patchy at first and still is (I’ve used it for 4 months now) I’ve noticed some hairs coming back but hopefully it goes away. Thank you for the help x
Please hindi
All I need from IPL is to reduce the hair as much as it can so I need to pluck less
Can this be used on my husbands hairy ears ?
yes!!
Me flashes the IPL light my eyes.
😮
pain pain
Somehow I can still see.
IPL isn't the same as laser! This device is an IPL device not laser!
