This weird flirt happened during middle school: So me and my research partner were researching praying mantises and we all know that the female praying mantis bites the male's head off after that. So I was talking about it and writing down until... "I'm gonna bite your head off," I didn't know what to do so I said "Thanks," and continued on.

I can relate to the middle-school experience of someone telling you their friend likes you. I am currently in middle-school and I'm openly out as aro-ace on the side of the spectrum where I onlh love people platonicly (only reason why people think me and my friend aren't dating) and as a joke random people I've talked to once or twice for school reasons come up to me and tell me their friend likes me, I say something like "no thanks" or "I'm not interested" and continue my day, but this is a DAILY thing and some people from other grades who are friends of friends of friends have started doing this and it sucks.
Also quick side note: my school is very accepting to the lgbtqia+ community as we are in an accepting area, like half the students are lgbtqia+, and we have a program for lgbtqia+ students to chill out. I'm just the only aro-ace person there and I came out this year so kids want to play around to see my reactions to stuff.
As a fellow aro/ace allow me to say I’m sorry you have to deal with that even if it’s a joke I imagine it must be quite annoying hopefully it’ll stop soon.

i have so many good (by good i mean terrible) flirting stories
a couple years ago i was working in a kitchen, and this guy, we'll call him Cherry, started working there a few months after i did. Cherry and i were flirting hardcore and thought about going out, but besides the fact that we were coworkers, and he was my boss's cousin, i was also only 19 at the time, and when he found out, he was like "woah, i dont wanna date someone thats barely an adult." which good on him for the bare minimum ig. Later this other guy who we'll call Anakin started working there as well. Me and Anakin started making fast friends, but after the whole Cherry situation, i wasnt about to date him. Me, Cherry, and Anakin actually ended up making a decent friend group. That is until i was working the closing shift alone. Cherry was the last person to leave besides me, and right before he left, he came up behind me and grabbed me and whispered in my ear "I love you." before walking away like nothing happened. The days after that, i decided not to make a huge deal about it, but wasn't exactly comfortable being alone with him. During this time, me and Anakin started hanging out outside of work more often as friends, and Cherry found out about it and got super jealous and lost his shit. Like at first he was just being kinda moody and petty, and it ended in him straight up telling Anakin that he was useless and couldnt do anything without me. The boss noticed him shouting and asked what was up, and he straight up said "fuck you" to the boss.

One tine I had an online friend, whom I didn't like too much in retrospect as he was very pushy and beggy (begging me for digital things in a video game, nothing serious)

something similar happened to me once. I was hanging out with some friends once and one of my friends brought some of his other friends who i had never met before. we were messing around in an old, creepy looking house we found in a local park nearby my city. long story short, one of my friends other friends started acting a little weird and began to play with three pocket knives he had collected and one of MY friends kicked him off his feet and stole his knives because he was trying to f'king stab him and me.
(I also want to note that the friend who stole those knives and saved me is now my boyfriend so, yay me!)

Her friends though were the definition of red flags. Pretty much forced her to be someone she didn't want to be, and were the ones who'd cheer and parade if she acted tough, judging if she wasn't. And those "friends" of hers also forced her to cut ties with me after I confessed I wanted to marry her. Aparrently that was stepping WAAAY over the line to where the friends HAD to get involved.
