I was player / coach security with the Raiders when McFadden was on the team. McFadden was always one the most respectful / polite guys on the team, GREAT GUY !!!
As a lifelong Arkansas fan. One argument I always use when they compare him and Reggie Bush. I always ask who was Reggie Bush’s quarterback Matt Lienart. People outside of Arkansas fans couldn’t tell you who Darren McFaddens quarterback was. You game plan for him and they still couldn’t stop him. To me it was him and pretty much him and you still couldn’t stop him to me that’s more impressive than Reggie Bush. For what it’s worth the quarterbacks he played with were Robert Johnson. Mitch Mustain, and Casey Dick,
@@bentonja668look at what USC had and what Arkansas had no comparison in talent. Arkansas had D-MAC, Felix Jones, and Peyton Hillis that’s it. Look at what USC had. Also Mitch Mustain started 1 game at USC after he transferred there. And it was the last game his senior year.
So Felix Jones wasn't a two time all American as well? N3ver had over 170 carriers in a season but still managed to have 2 thousand yrd seasons, he was so good coach Nutt made the wildcat just to get him involved, went first round and didn't even start
Him and Caddie Williams were my favorite running back as I was in collage when they were in. I heard he also had gotten cheated out some money in a real estate deal , he is still around , he is married now I belive
This dude was the first player I followed by in high school I used to get highschool football magazines and he was always in them dudes number were off the charts and every recruit that saw him said he’s HIM
Have you done a video on Marcus Lattimore from South Carolina or Lamichael James from Oregon? Both running backs had a lot of upside but never panned out. I think they both went to the 49ers coming out of the draft as well, so there would be some crossover. Thanks for the great videos brother.
Addiction is NO JOKE I was addicted to pills for 15 years and getting off them was the hardest thing I've ever did but I been clean for 3 years now and I'm so happy that I quit them and made it through. Everyone says just stop doing whatever you're addicted to it ain't that easy believe me. So congratulations to Darren McFadden for quitting alcohol. And he was one of my favorite players in college football and the NFL. He's a BEAST all the way around.
Great video Matt, showing your maturity as a man with this one! I've got a GOOD one for you way before your time! The great USC hyped QB who was supposed to be the next Roger Staubach/Joe Namath (?!?!)....... who also had the OG tiger dad.
That 2007 season the Arkansas offense was called by Gus Malzahn & he was in line to get the head coaching job after Houston Nutt was fired, but Nutt prevented him from getting the job & that's when Malzahn would later become Auburn's OC
Matt I absolutely LOVE the content you put out! I’m not gon lie in the beginning you kinda annoyed me but you grew on me man and I’ve become a big fan of your content! With that being said could you PLEASE do a video on what happened to PETER WARRICK?! He in my opinion was the best college wide receiver I’ve ever saw in my life and I’ve been watching college football since 93! Thanks bro keep up the great work!
Hello Matt! Great content stumbled onto your channel and started watching it but I've had a couple of recommendations but nothing yet! I'm going to just shoot in the dark and say do one on Cedric Cobbs who played for the razorbacks in college and I think he has a super bowl ring with the New England Patriots but don't think things are going too great for him. Once again thanks for the kind tent and if you ever get a chance remember, Jeff Driscoll Florida Gators but this may be my last time asking but I'll continue watching great content!
You have an addiction too Matt. You're addicted to the grind! I halfway say it jokingly but it's true, addictions can be positive that lead to something negative sometimes. But all in all great video as usual, thanks for the upload #MattBeGrindin
I remember going to the gas station every Saturday morning and buying a big bag of cheesy puff and a big jug of Grape Fanta just to see Darren McFadden and Felix Jones in action❤❤❤
Hey Matt! Can you do what happened to Daryll Clark video (former Penn State QB)? That would be a perfect video. The man went 22-4 as a starter and won a big ten championship. Played in the rose bowl. Finished in the top 10 both seasons, he was the starter. And he barely gets a mention among top PSU QBs. In fact, still run into fans who wish Devlin got more of a look.
New to your channel and greatly enjoy it. Huge football fan and find your content fascinating. You should look into a player, Chuck Muncie. He went to California Berkley and started his NFL career with New Orleans. Tragic story and a waste of talent. Also, and maybe you covered this player, Tony Mandrich is another sad but fascinating story you should consider.
Crazy I was talking about him the other day with my homeboy about him, Felix Jones, Peyton Hillis and my cousin playing on that stacked squad. Those home games were lit back then when they were on campus.
This a great video. I want to see a video of Trent Richardson next. Trent was good at Alabama but when he got in the NFL, he became lazy & he had all kinds of excuses. There is a photo of him when he was with the Raiders of him running the ball the opposite direction(he ran to the side with the most traffic instead of the right side who which had the wide open lane. He also thought he was going to get the same treatment he did at Alabama when he got into the NFL,. He found that once you become pro, you have schedule everything you need done or want to do yourself
you clearly never have been to a whataburger when the line is long. You can guarantee to devote about 30 minutes to an hour of your day to sitting there stationary lol
He was also part of one of the best backfields in college football history! With Felix Jones and Peyton Hillis both of whom were drafted into the NFL and had decent careers!
Nothing better than fantasy drafts, talking about the old games. Nothing like a war story or two. So what i peeked in high school I’m a regular guy now .
Could you sometime do a story about QB-Jeff Smoker from Michigan State Spartans whatever happened to him I remember watch a couple games of him back in the day during his college career
1st He had that fight because someone tried to steal his brother's car. 2nd He got cheated out the Heisman 2x. 3rd Who was his Qbs at the Raiders? He was the workload. Greatest Three Deep backfield in NCAA history: Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, and Peyton Hillis.
That backfield really overlooked
PREACH!!!!
This is not debatable either… I sent in real time ‼️‼️😂
FACTS‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Hillis never ran for over 350 yrds in any of those seasons tho ??🤔
His performance against LSU in 2007 was special
Hillis was arguably even more impressive m.czcams.com/video/RGkSwqcoeQA/video.html&pp
2 rushing TDs and 2 receiving TDs for Hillis in that game lest we forget
Injuries really hurt his NFL career
#2 All Time career rushing yards in SEC behind Herschel Walker
I been there. Proud of him. I’m 9 years sober.
Great for you and him Congratulations 🎉
You could do this with every Raiders #1 pick going back to 2001.
No not Robert gallery

Matt Jones too
Him , Felix and Gillis crazy backfield if he didn’t have turf to so damn much man and injuries he had promise still in the league
Can we please get a Matt Jones (Arkansas) video please
Yes! His is a wild ride.
Great video! I love how you try to give these guys the benefit of the doubt and tell both sides of the story!

Thanks dude, I'll check that one out!
Yeah I requested one on Lamichael James too and the QB that started when he played at Oregon too.

Ohio State is #1. If Andy Katzenmoyer makes the grade. He had a crazy hit again Missouri. Do a video. Dude was a beast
That game in 2007 in South Carolina was one of the greatest performances by a single player in the history og all sports. Just special 💯

Matt you could do Felix Jones and Peyton hillis videos next. Hillis was on the madden cover then disappeared.
Since you did this video Matt.. you may as well do the entire 3 headed monster , D-Mac, Felix Jones and Peyton Hillis
