- Today we take a look at 2 very handy mods. We have the a Claas grass harvester and a really cool ground modification roller that's capable of changing the ground types. 18 different ground types to choose from. Completely alter your map to your liking. Extend parking lots, make bigger fields, add textures to your liking. Make the map the way you like it. I asked the modder to fix the CLAAS..... basically told me to fuck off and do it my self,if I was unsatisfyed. Never used it again. This needs a GOOD modder and a brand new start.
Is that right? Some people man I tell ya. The claas is a nice looking mod and works great manually. Like you said, if someone took it and fixed it up it would be great.
I bookmarked the class mower to look at it I will try to fix it if I can this weekend but with the driection it drives putting the grass into one windrow would look buggy as the grass would have to jump from the far side to the center.

hi Nick, nice review. The roller is a good mod, but the mower needs a lot of work to become a good mod. I could not get used to controls, and the engine sound is too loud.
Yeah I agree, tho it's not for everyone. Using it manually seems to work great.
The Ground Modification Roller works great love it the only thing is the updated one didn't work at all. Had to download the other version again. Everything worked fine again. Don't know what cause the updated one not to work it just didn't. And if you mess up you can plow it away and start over don't think you can plow the cultivated area or the seeded areas over .

I think with the updated ground modification think I read a comment somebody said you had to start a new saved game for it too work I'm to far in on NF Marsh map v2.4 didn't want to start over got to many of the factory's going.
what is a better way of having more mods in the game cause im allways shuffling mods in and out
I think there may be a mod switcher out there. I just have separate mod folders on my desktop and just cut and paste them as needed.
the roller does not work.i have found that i have trouble with the ground Modification mod it does not work either .
I just came across this mod I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't work on my and I do not have wild grass mod
What if I want to get rid of a field but have grass on it? You set it to meadow but it gets rid of the grass regardless of what is selected. There's a place on my map that I want to turn a field into a place for placeables. So, get rid of the field and have normal looking ground with grass.
Not sure if you can do that. Why don't you just seed grass on the field?
Because then you can't "make roads" There must be something about a grass field the roller doesn't like.
Not really too sure. Maybe just try putting down cement or something.
I'll just install wild grass after I'm done deleting the field. Then uninstall it after I plant the grass, since the mods don't work together.
ie having a mega mod with all the desired mods from out of game mod file
I downloaded this Claas MOd a while Back Myself and decided that it was not worth the effort since the Modder also told me to go fumigate myself when ASked about getting the Steering and driving directions corrected when You Have the mowing Decks down. Funny thing though is on that site it clearly says, If You Find an Error please let us know. I will Definately NOT be downloading any Mods by these 3 Modders cos of it Checker507, Geri-G, and Zeph
What a jerk! Someone else was saying the same thing. People like that should take up another hobby or something. The mod has potential but if that's what you have to deal with to get it fixed. He can stick it where the sun don't shine :)
