I'm a huge martial arts advocate, but this doesn't seem like a safe organization. The knees to the head on the ground seem dangerous. Brain trauma at that age is definitely not good. However, good fight and good sportsmanship.

Same goes for sports, now whether or not they should've been wearing head protection is a good question but you know this looked more like a wrestling match compared to some of the adult fights or even kid fights (one I've personally seen when I was like 8 or 9, a kid grabs rock and wacks it at the other kid's head. That kid got into some serious trouble that day lol, the other kid luckily only had if I remember a few stitches and had to be taken to the hospital to see if he had a concussion or not but he ended up okay.) Just remember this that this is a sporting event and there are rules, albeit maybe not the best rules depending on what people think (even some American sports have rules or need rules that people have a problem with but either a. its not very major and just a safety issue or b. tradition or part of the sport, e.g. Hockey). Sports at least have rules compared to underground boxing which can often have people ending up dead and some of the kids who actually participate are often not doing it for competitive reasons but rather for money so they can feed themselves.
