    It’s awesome to see your back! I’ve been trying to get in touch with you my friend. I have a 1999 Acura TL that needs the transmission worked on. Please send me your contact info. The sooner the better so I can take it your way! I’m about 6 hours away! Again glad to see your back my friend.

      Take it to that address. I'll take care of it. I would like the to work on the whole car instead of a carry out. If the car is there I can take care of any issues that come up on the install if anything. Like mounts or bad connections.

    Thanks for sharing this great information I didn’t know that I have to turn traction control off to make the car running on the air. But what my Toyota Camry 2003 only drives side wheel is turning the passenger side moving very slow and I can stop it with my hand, just installed new CV axles is it possible that transmission is bad or didn’t coupled the shaft correctly?

    Hi, I have 2010 Camry 2.5L with 140,000 miles. I have some AT issues with searching for gears or RPMs reving up (No trouble codes). Additionally, during summer months on longer highway trips the transmission fluid temp goes almost to 230F. What do you think about Sonnax zip kits for this type of transmission or any other solutions. Thanks Mike.

    Hello Hiram, enjoy watching your videos.......... Just looking for advise on something and wondering if you could help me out. I have a 2005 Ford Ranger 3.0 which I think has a 4R44 transmission. I am suddenly having some issues where the OD Off Light started flashing a couple of weeks ago and when this happened I noticed a change in the way it seemed to be shifting. Now the light has been off for quite a while but when I first drive the truck in the morning everything feels fine but it seems once it warms up the truck feels like I am driving over some very small speed bumps in the street. This happens mainly in lower gear. I also feel some vibration when I am backing up. When slowing down around a corner for example it feels like the trans is not downshifting into a lower gear and the rumbeling feeling is there. I have about 110k miles on the truck. I took the truck to advance auto and they could not detect any trouble codes. I did a fluid and filter change last weekend with no change which was not fun for a 71 year old guy. Also tried adding a 2 ounce tube of something called Anti Shudder which had no effect. From your experience do you have any idea what the problem could be. Thank you very much and God Bless.

      Auto parts scan tools don't scan transmission related codes. They're mainly used for emissions related codes.
      You need to take it to an automotive or transmission shop to scan it, enhanced scan is when you input the vehicle type and systems aboard. It will scan every module and it's issues.
      You probably have a gear ratio error code of some type.
      Have it scanned and let me know when comes up.

      @@AutomaticTransmission Hello Hiram - I had my truck scanned for transmission codes and they said nothing came up. Just wondering about something -- Could a blowout in the valve body gasket cause the problems I am experiencing. One further thing is that I used my Ranger to pull out a few bushes recently and could the force of pulling out some bushes causes a blowout of a valve body gasket. Thank you..

    • @AutomaticTransmission
      @AutomaticTransmission  Před 3 lety +1

      I had the car on the lift, if you don't turn it off traction control comes on and won't go through the gears since the rear wheels are not turning.

    HOW WOULD that BRACKET POSSIBLY GET BENT INSIDE the CASE ? HOW DOES this EVEN HAPPEN ?

    • @AutomaticTransmission
      @AutomaticTransmission  Před 3 lety

      The sensors were replaced and when the valve body was installed it got bent somehow. That's why I removed the valve body to correct that. I'll do a part 2 of it when I get the parts.
