I got pregnant months before the pandemic and ended up staying (rent-free) for an additional two years. I had plans of moving out and doing my own thing, but my parents thought it best I stay with them and save.
I wish more parents in our community held this sentiment.

My mom had me and my sister helping her pay bills while her baby daddy sat around and drank all day. Then verbally abused us when we couldn’t or wouldn’t help anymore. I went off to COLLEGE 8 hrs away and she still expected me to help her financially. Never made my little brother work and now he has a baby and all he does it scam. No work ethic at all. My sister and I don’t help them. Call your sons and BD. We don’t even live in the same state with them. It’s fucking crazy fasho

We put our babies out way to early in our community. Then look down on them when they fail...when our parents set us up to fail lol...the other nationalities don't rush they kids out. We have to STOP that.

There is also a lot of people that look down at people who stay home as if they are not matured or an adult if they stay at home and build their finances before moving out. Trust me I stayed at home and always got asked when Imma get my own place like a grown up even though I was paying bills and helping out my mom in the process. If you stay at home you are considered unsuccessful automatically for some reason
