- Sonic is a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog who can run at supersonic speeds and curl into a ball, primarily to attack enemies. Throughout the course of the video games, Sonic most commonly has to race through levels, collect power up rings and survive against a host of natural obstacles and minions to achieve his goal. While many individuals at Sega had a hand in Sonic's creation, programmer Yuji Naka and artist Naoto Ohshima are generally credited with the creation of the character.

A very interesting thing about this list is, actually, that Modern Sonic only got one show of his own, while 4 of the six official shows used Classic Sonic instead. If you think about it, Modern Sonic is actually the longest used Sonic incarnation by Sega and still, he only got one show, and in that one, he wasn't even the main character.

well when you think of it modern sonic didn't have any show at all becuase the one modern tv show you were talking about was boom so classic sonic: *6 shows* Modern: *0 Show's* boom: * 1 Show*

The original sonic movie was fantastic, it had that classic hand animation and that upbeat jazz number was catchy

The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is a fun campy cartoon. Sonic X is an epic cartoon with some humor. Sonic Underground is a guilty pleasure. I haven't seen the other ones.
1. Sonic X - A decently well made show, probably the best we will ever get
2. Sonic Ova - This one is so weird but I love it despite its flaws.
2. Sonic Underground - The animation is iffy and so is the music but I’m a sucker for the characters and story
3. Sonic Boom - The animation is pretty good but it’s non linear story telling is a let down. It only beats out the one below bc of the voice acting and animation.
4. The adventures of Sonic - It’s fun I guess but nothing amazing , if anything it’s just a bad version of Underground. But it can be compelling when it wants to be.
4. Sonic Fan Movie - As a film it’s bad, it’s far too short (understandable tho). The story isn’t very intriguing but I appreciate the design of sonic. The script also falls flat so 🤷♀️ It’s not a very good fan film when compared to others but the action sequences aren’t the worst and actually make the movie more watchable.
5. Sonic Mania - It’s a fun adaptation but it’s not very interesting but I’ve only seen bits and pieces.
Tbh sonic kinda flops in his screen adaptions. Sonic X and the ova are the only adaptions I’d consider good, Underground is more of a guilty pleasure that is super weird but occasionally makes it’s abstract pieces work.

I now have realized that during the Reck it Ralph court scene, Sonic just looks like he has done this before and has the actual patience because if you break court rules, straight to jail.
