価格でリリースされたスタンスミスの新作は待望だった人も多いと思える本革使用。
厚みがあり非常に柔らかい革なので最初から履きやすい。
凄く気に入っている80年代の復刻モデルとはコンセプトが違い
ヴィンテージ仕様ではなく、デザインは最近リリースされているものと同じ形。
ちょうど年末ということもあり、クリスマスプレゼントに良さそうな
高級感もある仕上がりになっている。
３種類のモデルと比較してみたが、好みのものはありましたか？
I have seen leaked information overseas, but in Japan, the new Stan Smiths released at a relatively reasonable price are made of genuine leather, which many of you have been waiting for.
The leather is thick and very soft, so it is easy to wear from the beginning.
The concept is different from the reissue model of the 80's, which I like very much.
The design is the same shape as the recently released ones, not the vintage version.
It is just the end of the year, so it looks like a good Christmas gift.
It also has a high-end finish.
I compared three different models. Did you find one you liked?

Thanks for the nice review. If comparing the leather quality, do you think the leather of Lux or 80s is better?
Thanks for the comment, the Lux is a relatively soft leather and the 80s are stiffer at first, so the rest is a matter of preference, but I personally prefer the 80s for comfort!

adidias used alot of kangaroo leather prior to 2012. I would imagine the 80s leather quality would be alot better but would need to be broken in.

Do you recommend buy these lux ones half size smaller than my normal size? Speaking of Adidas shoes I only have a pair of sambas and they fit me well in 10 US
Thanks for your comment. I'm a US 9 when it comes to SAMBA and a US 10 for these Stan Smith, although a US 9.5 would also work, but I like to wear them slim so that the outer wings don't spread out, so I go up one size.

Hey, I was wondering what is the difference between Stan Smith for men and women? Is it just the color? There is a color that I like but on the website it says it's for women.
Thank you for your comment. Recently, Adidas and Puma have been focusing more on products for women, but the difference is that there are fewer holes to put the laces through, depending on the size.
Are these more durable then the old standard ones? Th ones I had didn't last that long!

hi! if I'm an 8.5 US in the regular Stan Smiths, would you recommend getting the same size for the Lux, or half size down?
Thank you for your comment. If US 8.5 is just fine for regular Stan Smiths, I think Lux should be basically the same size. There is no need to size down.

for anyone wondering it does fit true to size although a little longer than a normal stan smith, still good and comfy to walk in. i imagine going half a size would be sort of tight as the leather rally is thicker. premium quality in the end ❤
Thanks for your comment. I have asked the adidas staff again, and it seems that if you have a narrow foot shape itself, the idea is to go down a half size regarding Stan Smith. So, I thought it is important to try them on.
@@tumbleweed6906 yeah for me it’s tough to say though, i don’t think going half a size down would work out with how tight it already fits, i don’t even lace it to the last eyelet.
@@lgomez8478 Perhaps, though, women with narrow legs might go down a half size, I go up one size, and so on. I kind of think the Stan Smith would look bad if they spread out.

直近だと80sも出してるし開き直りましたかね…？
(ハイレットっぽいのとか特殊なカラーのRECONとかは既に本革でしれっと出してましたが)
それはさておき個人的には80sのグリーンの色味がLUXのように深い緑だったら最高だなって思いました！

Thank you for your comment. I am usually a US 9.5 in Adidas, but I went with a US 10 because I wanted the laces to be tight, so a US 9.5 was no problem at all. I think it is an orthodox shape, not that slim.
I wear Size 11.5 in jordan 1 high. And size 12 in yeezy. I purchased the Stan Smith Lux in size 11.5 because I have wide feet, will I be good?

ギュン履きした時にシルエットがより細く見えるモデルを検討しているのですが、ラストは80Sの方が細いでしょうか？
ありがとうございます。80sの方が両サイドの羽の部分のレザーが長いのでよりギュン履きが綺麗に見えると思っています。ラストは似たようなものですが、同サイズだとLUXの方がゆとりがあります。

@@user-sx5xi8ps9l 先日、80sの白がまたリリースされ、品番が違うので、FZ5597の方が少しだけ高いのですが、OGボックスで、IF0202ともしかしたらシルエットが少し違うかも知れません。

Hi! Sorry but can’t choose between the 80s and the Lux (trying to find them in burgundy). Which one has the most “buttery”/quality leather for you? I would like to style them with classic outfits as a basic white “”elegant”” sneaker
Thank you for your comment. Yes, it is a difficult question. Classic old fashioned Stan Smiths are 80s. Personally, I think the 80s are currently better for comfort, and the Lux is a newer attempt, so I guess I would wear them with clean clothes rather than casual. In fact, a new genuine leather version has been released, so I will make another comparison video.

@@francescomaffei799 It doesn't have a special name, it seems that the upper is genuine leather and the inner is synthetic leather, but it doesn't look bad. In case you are wondering, the part number is FZ6436

Thanks for your comment. Both models are real leather, but in slightly different shapes: the 80s is more vintage and slimmer, and the Lux is softer leather and more special!

What do you think of the stan smith crepe sole?
In my personal opinion, the crepe sole melts on concrete in hot areas, so the time to wear them is limited in Tokyo where I am.I think it looks good, but I'm not sure if it's realistic.
@tumbleweed at this price point, would you recommend the recons or the lux over the crepe soles; and if so, which of the two? I ordered the crepe sole stan smiths as my first pair without realizing the drawbacks of crepe soles. Can't stop binging your videos. Thanks for your time.
@@NogGonnaMakeIt In this price range, the Stan Smith Lux is definitely the way to go. If you can afford a little more, the Stan Smith 80s would be my personal top recommendation. If you take care of the crepe sole, I think you will enjoy them for a long time.

Is the leather better than full grain leather
It is hard to say which is better, but I can say that the quality is perfectly acceptable at this price. However, so far, I think I prefer the 80s for comfort
