Wow! This was an incredibly intense and exciting crossover boss battle! You did a great job with the animation, music, and audio. Choo-Choo Charles's 2D design turned out very well. Cuphead's moves were smooth and really felt like something from the game too. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to play this as a gamer. Also, I never would have guessed that Cuphead was voiced by DAGames just by listening. Thanks for sharing this with us! ^_^

have you ever noticed in 0:51 that the shots that cupheaad is using is peashooter and the chaser before using the charge shot, this is used in the fnf mod indie cross when cuphead shoots BF with, very nice hidden detail.

I saw a trailer of Choo Choo Charles and he is enormous! No matter how many times you shoot Charles he doesn't flinch a bit. The only way he died was falling off the bridge and getting his face spiked and he died. Now this is so worth the wait! Great job Moro! 👍

@@Kailiwak those spikes really went deep into his Face you really think you could still survive that and he’s being mostly shield by his armor (Which is the train) meaning guns can still damage him but it will take a while to kill him And The spikes hit his most vulnerable area

This was very very good and actually seemed like a cuphead boss battle is there was a cuphead mod for an older audience. I'm surprised you came up with this but it makes sense because you are a very good animator. This just goes to show what 1, practice can do since I know you've been doing animations for a while and 2, how some animators know everything in a certain lore area for different things. Love your animations MORØ keep up that amazing work.👍
As someone who has never played cuphead, Charles seems like the most unfair cuphead boss I’ve ever seen, but from what I hear about cuphead, I think a few players would just roll their eyes at him
In terms of gameplay, he seems an average boss of isle 2. Not as high from the bosses in isle 3

I so badly want these fights to be actual Cuphead mods but I know that would be way way more work than an animation, and they take enough work as is. Either way they're really cool and I like them a lot.

I love when Cuphead is shooting at Charles, Charles never has the white flash around his body to indicate damage on him. Due to the fact he really can't be harmed so easily.

I was gonna say he probably animated more than a week since it was annouced a year ago but it does use hell choo choo charles as well and the shrine so yeah its very impressive

It actually could be kinda easy to do as most of the animations are repeated. All he had to do was make the animations (he could have also used tweening as a faster method) and place them on the stage and move him around and stuff. So yeah thats the reason why it took him only a week I guess
Voice acting for Cuphead returns, which is sick, and that animation really felt like the game. The fact that he's outrunning a train is quite funny to me, despite being a fragile cup, he sure got dem stronk legs

I love how Moro used all the key weapons in Choo Choo Charles as cuphead bullets such ad BIG boom as the Big blast attack the Bug spray/Flamethrower as the fire pellet and lastly the derailer as the normal bullets. It's such a simple concept yet it hits soo hard.

well the attacks are pretty plain but in the actual game that's all Charles does, everything else is perfect
@@Notreallytoxictbh123 Yeah, the attacks didn't seem to match the chaos of a Cuphead fight until the final phase. But then it REALLY started to fit.
I just had to suffer through being rusty against the Devil, that phase looks fine.

If this was implemented in the real cuphead game. I think Charles would be the hardest boss to try a no hit run. You never know if it's gonna teleport on top of you or not with that beam.
It’s not a challenge with mrs chalice as she is kinda too op but stage 3 might be hard so with cuphead or mugman it would be easy as the smoke bomb for them just requires the special ability button yet they can’t duck or they get damaged by boss

I've noticed that in the first and second phase of the fight, Charles has the 1930's cartoon style eyes. However, in the final phase he completely drops the facade and looks more like his in-game Hell appearance.

Woah. This is the fastest I’ve ever seen you make an animation. Choo Choo Charles only came out recently and you’ve made possibly a 3+ minute worth of animation as a bossfight. I have no idea how you did this.

This is Awesome! I especially love how Charles is animated! Although this does beg the question: is Cuphead _truly_ fast enough to outrun a train? Not only that, but a train with _SPIDER LEGS_ unbound to any track.
Well Cuphead is from a game so possibly *ANYTHING* can happen even be fast enough to outrun a train with spider legs
@@poketube28 I suppose if frightened enough, he could do the old cartoon trick of just vanishing in a puff of smoke (shaped like him) as he runs off.
But in the game, when he's fighting the Phantom Express, he does require a handcar to keep up with it (with parry-capable brakes to adjust the speed) and have something to stand on so he doesn't get run over or get knocked out by faceplanting into the earth (using the game's internal logic of falling off the platforms causes injuries). Still, his ability to respawn without needing a train engine as a spawnpoint could throw Charles for a loop-de-loop, combined with Cuphead's greater durability than the protagonist of Choo Choo Charles (who is insta-killed anytime he's outside of his train engine; whereas Cuphead can take 3 hits from anybody before perishing, including powerful entities such as Djimmi the Great, Hilda Berg, Cala Maria, Grim Matchstick the Dragon, Glumstone the Giant, King Dice plus his Court, and of course THE DEVIL HIMSELF).

May I ask what happened to Choo Choo Charles at the 3rd Phase of the fight? Did he absorb some Nightmare Energy or something? If he did that's really awesome lol, He became WAY more menacing after that point in the fight.

It was a ritual to get rid of him but it failed only making him stronger.
In game it was a way to lure him into a fight to the death because usually he’ll run away if he takes too much damage, the final phase is the final boss of choo choo Charles, hell Charles.
Also, canonically Choo Choo Charles died when the bridge he was on blew up and he fell off the bridge into a giant spike. Moro couldn't do that because cartoon and Cuphead randomly showed up, so he made Charles fall off the bridge and blow up.
The temple was actually meant to destroy the egg which it work however charles go to the beam that is destroying the egg. Charles then absorb the enegy from the egg+beam to turn in to a ravines monster with immeasurable power

The final phase seems most like a cuphead style fight. Dodging projectiles that move up, down, and forward remind me of the game. Add a little more difficult and the final phase would be even more than a nail biter

Oh cool Cuphead's voice actor helped this time. Heck, Cuphead is finally talking, Period. In the previous animations he was mute. Isn't the perfect Cuphead impression in terms of accuracy to the original voice, but is perfect in terms of personality!
I would love to actually see this as like a mod for cuphead to just add in new bosses. Also the idea of a running stage or boss battle where cuphead has to constantly run is great idea.
