Simon Kirke - king of the 'less is more' solid grooves. Love his vibe on these early recordings. 1/4 note master. Good stuff. Seemed like the antithesis of the Yes crowd of the same era.

Definitely the easiest teacher to understand, you make things seem less complicated, I’m an absolute beginner and old so not finding it easy, but you make it fun and that helps get it across, I’ve bought a couple of coffees but I think I’m going to become a channel member to try to improve more. Hey Mike - do you ever use an acoustic kit in your videos.. I would love to hear your articulation on a real snare drum - that one you are using has some limitations I hear. Are they Roland V drums?
