Kourtini Lind was a Victim of poor Voting. That girl was a beast. I like her uniqueness, Personality and Technique. She should have stayed longer probably be in the finals.

Season 2-4 seemed to have dancers that can really performed and became really memorable. The later seasons had great dancers that can do amazing tricks, but weren't as memorable. Or maybe I just got a little numb from everyone being so amazing. For me Katee has been my favorite. There are dancers that can probably do way more than her, but I love her performances and personality.
Why aren’t any of Courtney’s solos on here ? She had many good solos and they were the definition of “dancing for your life” she put her heart and soul into it
@@kep881 i personally think Courtney and Chelsie should’ve been the final 2 girls in the finale that season Katee was talented but she had an easy journey and got her style a lot wasn’t always out of her comfort zone
Kourtni Lind was deff the Shauna Noland of season 4 - blonde female contemporary dancers with really good solos but didn’t have the best luck with their partners and got overshadowed by other contestants who were just as good
@VitaKristelle Oh no way that dance was actually crazy, when I first saw it I pretty much saw the same thing, but the more I've watched this show the more I've learned to spot small details, her hips are constantly in motion and her feet are moving pretty fast at the same time. Her steps are fast and nonstop yet she still managed to make her upper body appear calm which is tough to do. Although it might not be as much of a crowd pleaser as the contemporary solos, technique wise it's top 10!
Courtney may not have perfect technique but she brought a ton of personality to the show, was a great performer and did great in alll of her routines! SHe had stand out performances and grew a lot on the show. she obviously wasn'tjust a medicore competition dancer if she was asked to come back as a all star for season 7!
I think Chelsie's 4th solo, the Jive to "The Girl's Gone Wild" would have been worthy of inclusion into this list. He had incredibly fast foot movement, very precise placing of her legs and feet, and made the whole thing look effortless. But maybe im biased because im a Ballroom Dancer... Regardless, that Cha Cha of hers you included was quite a technical piece, and I challenge anyone who says otherwise to try to do it even 1/10th as good as she did!

I know courtney is not an outstanding technician and i said that but she shone on stage and nigel himself once called courtney a star. Plus the reason of the all stars was to help the contestants and make there routines stronger and obviously courtney had some quality in which the judges and producers felt would help achieve that.
Katee should've won that season and I totally felt (and still feel) that the judges made WAY too big a deal out of her admitting she wouldn't have tried out for the show again if she didn't make it. A)she never said she was going to quit dancing and B)it's not mandatory for anyone to try out for this show over and over again if they don't want to. Anyways, I also really liked Kourtni L. (looove that Ani DiFranco solo) and Chelsie H. grew on me as the competition went on.
@DanceFavorites88 theres so much more to dancing than perfect technique or what you mean by technique like lines and center and arches but half the dancers they put on dont have an ounce of musicality or unique interpretation of music

Chelsie will always have the best latin solos ever, her diversity (as in doing the pirouettes and the split and the chaine turns) is by far the best!

I loved the nr 1 solo. Its definitly my favorite as well, you can just feel Katees emotions and her arms and legs look sooooo long ^^
