    Third rewatch, Chris. I learned this time about the subtlety of the ink you select when you stencil. Pumice Stone color is just perfect. Great for a clean and simple card. Thanks again for all I continue to learn from you. From Cheryl in AZ.

    A micron is a measure of length or in practice, thickness. A micron is a micro millimeter. The Mylar is 250 microns thick, which is equal to .25 mm thick.

    Hello! I don't know how CZcams arranges these videos; I've only just now found you so I have some catching up to do - not a chore, and will keep me out of mischief.
    I had to stop the video to laugh at the point where you said "how far have I got, what am I doing?" It's something I say on a very regular basis, as did my mum, and hers, too. I think I've found my new best friend...

    Dear Christine - in this video you mention how you could end up chatting all day and I thought I’d tell you how much I enjoy listening to you and love your chatty videos. I’ve been paper crafting for thirty years but now ill health is creating difficulties for me and I get my fix by watching crafting videos. I absolutely love yours especially the way you explain everything carefully. It’s a great learning resource. Ah well I’m guilty of chatting on too so see you in the next video.

    Another very useful video, Chris. It's very reassuring to see that even someone who is an experienced and skilled card maker who produces such gorgeous results still has the odd ink blot to remove or stencil to reposition! I had vowed not to get any more Oxides, but those two colours you used are very tempting! Thank you for sharing your expertise with us.

    I have just got some mylar - to make stencils - thank you for the warning . really love the pumicestone coloured stencilling -i'd have that as a card on its own - loved it x

    I have used plastic notebook dividers for cutting stencils. Worked perfectly. In USA I found them at Dollar Tree. Your card is beautiful!

    Great video - Tim Holtz brushes that comes in a metal tube are perfect for stenciling , they never go under the stencil - once u buy them , they will last forever ..

    Excellent video. Thank you so much. Will use it for class of CAS creations in April at our club. I live in Arizona in a rather large 55+ year old community. The members are loving that style and many are now on the website as well.

      @@Chrissieannie next month they will learn using two images on two pieces of cardstock and a heart or circle cut frame to lift the second up. But, using rub on transfers instead of JPEG transfer.

    I make my own stencils using transparency sheets then tack it down where I want to stencil using temporary spray ( experiment before you use) . Would you mind focusing closer to your project - I like to see your techniques closer. 🇨🇦

    I love your style and everything you do. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. I wonder if moving your watch face nearer your thumb on your wrist would help solve the problem of your camera zooming in and out. Plus you could see it more easily. Just a thought.

      Thank you... Moving it further up my arm sometimes helps, but I had altered the magnification when I was doing it before and forgot to readjust. So that I was working out of shot!

      Thanks so much, you know when I look through my videos after I have made them I often think exactly the same as you... Why didn't I do a close up of that? To be honest I don't always think of the techy things as I'm making a video I just kind of get on with the project, but I really will try to remember to make sure that a) things I'm doing are always in the shot and b) I do close ups and then remember to revert to a regular shot afterwards. Sometimes my watch alters the magnification without me realising it!

      They are not special brushes, just blending brushes from eBay or Amazon I think!

    Thanks for the tips on how to make a stencil...I'll give it a try ! Could you spell the name of the gold gilding paste please...that is something I could use in my card making.     Hi Christine I can’t see often what you are doing, so it would be good when you do subtle little things if you either went in closer or bought the paper up to the camera, could no see any of th dots you put on either gold or grey

      If you clean it immediately a baby wipe does the trick, if it's left for a while Stazon stamp cleaner does the job.

    Chris why does your camera zoom right out during your filming, it happens on a lot of your videos, unfortunate, i could actually see the gold you put on as it was too far away.

      I think that as my videos are controlled from my watch, sometimes the dial (which affects the focus/zoom) gets moved by the movements of my wrist. I don't always notice... Sorry about that! 😳

    Please help me ? i love youre cards. but i have seen one with embossing and a litlle glitter in it. You made it yourselve, Not the paste but powder with glitter, but i can not find it anymore. I hope you know whati mean?? greets

      I’m sorry I really can’t think just what you are referring to. I haven’t made any embossing powder, I have mixed different ones in the same project, but can’t actually recall the technique you mention. If I do I’ll try to let you know!
