I definitely do not recommend buying anything from Eastwood. I got a radiator from them, does not cool the engine at all. I put my old flakey stock one back in that was smaller and it cooled my engine fine. They approved for me to return iin October 2021 and told me they will send a "return authorization document". They never sent it and now they are ignoring my emails with no response at all from the website or anything. Now it is January 2022 and I am just another ignored customer.

These guys know what they are talking about and probably have good equipment and good equipment always helps to make a job easier but expensive equipment isn't a must for a good welder.
You'd be surprised what you can do with the cheapest piece of equipment on the market.
Can you use the new pedal on the older model?
We have upgraded pedals for all the machines but there's several models so you need to check your welder to make sure it's the right one.

You didn't say what you did to the tungsten before you weld aluminum do you need the ball on DC before welding
Some folks go with the 'balling technique', however Mark uses the grind angle for aluminum as he does steel to simplify things.
So, if you dial it to 1 Amp per .001", and it is a 200 Amp welder, the maximum thickness of material you can weld is .200 or 3/16" but not quite a quarter of an inch, right? Please, and thank you..nice welder, good price and great warranty... I think I will get one.
The 1 amp/1 thou rule is only used to approximate the machine settings. It's only a "ballpark."
To be totally accurate, you'd want to consult the chart on the machine itself. However, even with the charts settings, you might find yourself wanting a little more heat or a little less heat. That's just personal preference.
The TIG 200 AC/DC is rated for 1/4".
When do I find out that I won the welder? I have been a sub for a while and visit the Parma, Ohio store on a regular basis for powder coating and painting materials.

I have an Eastwood Tig 200 and it blew up internally. Eastwood was of little help. I decided to purchase a different brand.

The 6 year warranty was only for the TIG 200 and has since expired.

If they were real quality you wouldn't have backed down from the 6 year warranty on all of them , been eyeing the 250 but the fact the warranty wasn't offered on that machine speaks volumes.
looks like a good welder. But Sorry, I just couldn't make it through the video. Tell that kid on the right to sit on his hands and shut his mouth. He is so annoying. Let the guy on the left get out a complete sentence for once. It would be a much more informative video and perhaps i would learn more about the welder and make a purchase.

Does it pulse ?
