Great reaction, Joel! In this video, Amira sings at the Lexus Pop Classics concert at the Sun Arena with her longtime friend and collaborator Ruhan du Toit. She has already recorded "Barcelona" with him, for example. At the end, Amira hits the note E6. It's superhuman. The typical soprano range is B3-C6. Bonjour ! C'était bien court en effet mais la dernière note, un contre-mi (E5 en notation française et E6 en notation américaine), valait le coup à elle seule. Juste pour donner une idée, c'est la limite supérieure de la tessiture habituelle de Maria Callas. L'aria de la Reine de la nuit dans la flûte enchantée va jusqu'au contre-fa. Évidemment, ce n'est pas si rare en soi pour une soprano et il y a beaucoup d'autres facteurs, je laisse les spécialistes compléter... Mais cela donne une idée du potentiel d'Amira !!!
Le chanteur se nomme Ruhan du Toit, c'est une valeur sûre des studios Coleske avec lesquels Amira est toujours en contrat, sauf erreur.
Enfin, pour info, Amira a fait deux ou trois choses depuis un an qui pourrait retenir votre attention. Entre autres, Gesù Bambino dans une église de Nimègue et "Ebben ? Ne andrò lontana", l'aria le plus connu de La Wally, comme invitée d'honneur pour HGT. Il y a aussi une reprise de We shall overcome en Afrique du sud...

Hello friend .Its a heartache that dont be posted this video in youtube .. This performace was in July 2023 in the Pop classics of Pretoria , with Amen too . And still didnt posted in youtube . Someone posted without permission two parts of the video .. One first part at the begining of the song ( also short ) and this second part . So spectacular performance deserves to be watched in complete form for all the people .I dont understand how this song still are not in youtube

Une info pour ce qui est de casser un verre par résonance, en fait la seule qui aurait pu le tenter est une soprano française 🇨🇵.😊
Cela date des années 50, mais on n'avait jamais essayé le contre-contre ré que chante Mado Robin ici, et on ne l'a jamais refait depuis... A moins naturellement qu'Amira Willighagen ne joue Mozart et la Reine de la nuit à Paris... 😊
