Yup lakme does bad with foundation shades and maybe this lip crayon! But they do make some gorgeous lipsticks like their lip & cheek , they are phenomenal . So yeah it's a good indian lipstick Brand.

I completely agree with sugar SMN lipstick. My lips bleed and burn after applying it every time. And I am boycotting lakme completely, DO 👏 BETTER👏 LAKME👏 or 👋

R. S. Society is a massive influence on families. Soooo....yea. The reason ur family might want u to be lighter is because the societal and national standard of beauty is being fairer skinned. So a discussion about which came first the egg or the chicken is pointless to me coz families pressure the individuals in that family and hold them up to sociatal standards. So saying it’s family not society’s weird coz they didn’t get those ideas about what you *should* be by themselves, they were influenced by society, tradition, religion etc etc

Same thing happened to my lakme crayon spice street... Very disappointing... And with the color bar haute latte... I applied a very very thin layer of coconut oil beneath the shade and then i did swear not to buy again... U r so honest... Earn so much respect....

I have that color bar lipstick in the same shade and I SO agree with you. It's a gorgeous shade but it dries out my lips horribly and also it cracks, doesn't fade. Doesn't look good at all.

Lakmé if you are listening 👂, I am not gonna buy any of your products until you improve your shade range & some drying formulas...though I don't come under the deepest spectrum of skint tone, I feel Lakmé very insulting for most of the dusky to deep complexioned women in India💔

Similar experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Aloe lip crayons and Sugar Smudge me not lipsticks. So glad someone finally spoke the truth.
I was contemplating on buying the Lakme Argan Oil thingy, thankfuly not anymore after this video.
Their new argon oil plus matte range is gorgeous .

She deserves more subscribers man, she’s one of the best makeup gurus I’ve known on CZcams. She has helped me save a lot of money by giving such honest reviews about these tempting makeup products. Love the video. You’ve helped me get better in makeup too.💓
My first makeup kit actually came from Lancôme , I was always under the opinion in the past that expensive makeup is great quality and is what looks good , that lancôme set (for how expensive it was) was absolutely useless on my skin tone, made me so sad , so seeing that they've actually come out with the foundation concept that makes custom shades for all skin tones was so great to me, still though TBH I don't get what all the hype about their products is.
The shades offered by SUGAR in their smudge me not range are so GORGEOUSS!! but the only yet the most disturbing thing about it is its formula. Every other day SUGAR is coming out with different shades and even after continous criticism from its consumer about the formula,they have shown no efforts in improvising it!! This really needs to be taken into consideration!! And yes LAKME,Hmmmm!!! I would rather prefer not saying anything about it because you know that the marketing team is not gonna pay any heed to it! And yes jovi you look absolutely stunning!!
The original touché eclat is famous for being a brightening product and not a concealer. Hence the limited colors.

Hi Jovita, I bought the YSL Touche Eclat at an airport back in 2014. The saleswoman categorically sold it to me as a subtle highlighter to be used on the high planes of the face; not as under-eye concealer. It worked for me in that capacity but I prefer powder highlighters so I‘ve never re-purchased it.
The Lakme Skincare range is always heavily fragranced and breaks me out!
Totally agree with sugar lipstick.. one of the worst product.. I used it on my client and after half n hr , it started removing in patches 😏 as if there was no product.. luckily I mailed company and they exchanged it for another products

Finally someone talks about the Milani blush! I was so disappointed and surprised when I got it. It does nothing for me and smells awful. I keep it because it’s pretty but I have always struggled finding good blushes.

I have just purchased colorbar hautte latte nd i also really loved the shade bt as u said its bit drying nd comes out from the centre of lips nd shows so many wrinkles on my lips

Hi Jovita, I agree that sugar liquid lipsticks are drying but you can use them after applying lots of lip balm. It works for me and even stays for a longer time. 😊

I've used Haute Latte by Colorbar. It's my favourite colour, but agree to that drying issue. Same with Sugar. I've 2 of their shades. I apply a lip mask at night and in the morning, I apply a balm and keep the balm on for good 20 minutes and then bloat the balm with a tissue and go ahead with the lipsticks. And it has really helped with the drying.

It might just be the store you went to because I worked for ysl and they have many many shades YSL actually was one of the first designers to put a black woman on the runway to model his collections and the one you have was a shimmering highlighter not exactly the same as the touch of light concealer

Thank you! Being honest is simple. Lying is the difficult thing. You have to create a fake story and then maintain it. Too much work for my simple brain 😅
Appreciate your honesty so much 😀😍 I have tried one shade from Sugar's Smudge Me Not line and hated it and all this time thought I might be the only one. So glad to find someone sharing the same thoughts on this. I love the fact that they have amazing colors in this range but the formula is not for me!
I tried a YSL concealer in the store and it was the best one I have ever tried, the clicking pen was so fancy!!! They have more shades now. It was beyond my price range though so I skipped it xD

Sugar gel liner - Same thing happened to me when I tried Maybelline gel liner...
Try adding a drop of olive/ coconut oil to the gel liner....it will turn creamy n easy to apply

Thank God someone has mentioned about Haute Latte from colorbar. I thought I was the only one who was facing that weird experience from this. It used to chap my lips so badly within 1-2 hours of application and without eating or drinking anything. The way it used to fade off was ridiculous. It used to feel like I've applied Fevicol or something. I do love the colour but I've stopped using it. Please let us know about a dupe for his Color as it's such a pretty nude shade. ❤️😘
That Lakme crayon one is so true😂😂mine broke off in one day. That crayon falling on floor nd getting dirty thing was so relatable.
It is the crappiest product ever! I have always had my hydration game up like literally nothing could damage them UNTIL...this lakme shit crayon! It cracked my lips like crazy every time I applied it and I had roam around with gobby lips cause I applied tons of petroleum jelly to treat them 😑

The same thing happened with me with the lakme crayon! Even this happened with my friends too. The crayons broke after one or two weeks😑 Don't know what's wrong with the product!

OMG ! you got it right !!! I was huge fan of sugar cosmetics, I still am, I love it's stick foundation, brow definer, but I am highly disappointed by the 'smudge me not' range.. I have a habit of having my lips packed with lip balm and my lips were super soft but as soon as I started using this product after 45 mins of it's application my lips would burn, feel super itchy and dry..forget about re-application because I tried it once and I cried in pain and disappointment.. I improved my routine to avoid this, still my lips turned chappy, dark and it started to bleed after a few weeks :( I do not prefer using liquid mattes much because I do not like my lips dried and chapped by the end of the day... I bought a mini set to try out different shades and so that I'm able to finish the product, but guess what? the product in the container dried in 2 and a half months ! I purchased a few more sets to gift my sisters, which I regret :(
after discontinuing it's usage it almost took me three months of 'lip balm only' routine to fix the damage and a big shout-out to 'Biotique' for making such perfect lip balm , I feel bad to overlook my huda beauty lipsticks for trying out a new range..after all this, I have purchased "Maybelline creamy matte" and I fell in love with this product.. today after months I have placed an order for 'nykaa-matte to last' and 'Naykaa - so matte' I really hope it turns out well like maybelline did.
I totally agree with you Jovita on the Sugar smudge me not lipsticks..I myself have one a very good shade, but stopped using it as it really dried up my lips in very bad way and it looked horrendous..! 🙄
