Of course im making up for the weak silence who we have to carry the slack for. Who we have to work to get better systems for.

The genuine owners value went up and they might not even know all this is going on for them in the background.

Im getting tired of finding piracy promoted, then if we use the piracy files we get closed down.

These are not my designs and I don't sell other designers designs. I added designer names to the video and also links in the description. I searched for the Joy fidget and I didn't find exactly the same design from 2021. This design I found is uploaded to Thingiverse in 2022.
@@3DPrintsBuilds The risk to us the public and community and farms and services is if the thing file is piracy it is us who pay the price, close downs do and are happening.
My guess is you found some things and made a vid about them, no license check was performed was it? Else youd have said yes 100%.

Finding a thing on thingiverse and reading its license is NOT a license check.
If thing joy fidget was licensed non commercial in 2021 for example then the 2022 is most likly in breach.
Modifying a thing is not enough.
Redrawing it is not enough
Drawing it yourself from scratch is not enough.
I expect unless your a day 1 newb you know all this.
The community has enough issues to work on.
Newbs uploading piracy causing others to be closed down for piracy from trying to sell copies of a thing that should never have been there is already an issue without promoters adding to losses by possibly promoting pirates above the genuine thing.
Thingiverse does have some piracy issues, so just because its on thingiverse or any site is not proff its the original genuine thing.

Non commercial license is a owned thing, that owner sets terms of use, who may sell it, prices if any, so on.
A thing license ownership can be sold.

TRANSFER thing ownership, within a site, upload dates are matched to original by email arrangment with site.
MIGRATE is to move, spread ownership to another site or sites, upload date of creation get matched to original by site by email arrangement with site.
SEMI MIGRATE. Spread to new site but upload dates dont match, be carefull not to delete original.

As you said you found a thing in 2022 which does suggest you didnt understand why who licenses it first matters.
If you had license checked it you would not have said 2022 in my opinion, you might have said either yes 2021 is the first true original,
or a prior date, not 2022.
If 2021 does turn out to be the oldest and its licensed non commercial then 2022 is possibly a pirate.
If 2022 is a pirate then anyone using that file can be closed with a few clicks to show genuine owners license. That is a common way newbs get uploads closed.
That is a common way pirate farms come to grief, but they have no excuses because they all should well know by now.

Genuine thing found 910th place down the list aprox. We can and are being shut down for piracy if we use any of the 909 first things in results.
Medical and health care searching deserve better than that. What is the cost to us in time loss.

The real services critical to our sector is not spoken by a shark who sees newbs and there things jobs businesses as snacks to consume.
