Great video love the vibe
I do have a tip though from much research into albos, it is all about where the stem is cut. You want to cut close to the node when the stem is beginning to turn either green or whit. This trains the stem to stay its chosen variegation. Also, when you get the "full moon" Leaves, do not wait for the leaf to die which is ALWAYS will, because the plant is already focusing on reverting to this color. They don't just revert to green! Cut it back to where the baby began and this will give it another shot at turning out right:) You would not believe the stuff I have learned about this dream plant. I have even tested the theories out on friend's albos. I hope it helps. If I could afford the price of this plant, I would get them ONLY from you!
These were the kinds of tips I wanted to hear!! Thanks!
Can I ask then please....my albo has become highly variegated at the top now. The stem was green at the base with a small white streak. Do you cut above the white part or below?
@@rosewest5168 When you have leaves that are around 99% white, they will still produce green variegation as well. However, if you get a fully white growth and you are afraid of it dying off, or leaves almost entirely reverted back to green (which they will so be careful) you need to cut above the last node where you see any and all color streaking. You can promote it to try again this way. If you want to cut below that same node, its alright too because you can re-root the portion you cut off:) The key with these and pruning is all about the color of the stem.
@meganpahl3612
@meganpahl3612 Thank you. I have 3 of my own albo's which I've had for 2 years now. One of which is highly variegated and has half moons which touch wood the white is still fine! I think I've been lucky with that one as I don't use grow lights or humidifiers. She is on the worktop behind my back door.
The other day I bought 5 albo plants off a ladies daughter. The lady had passed away. I got them for 10 each. They are quite mature ...I noticed the lady managed to increase the variegation by cutting the main stem in places and then another stem has shot out. They told me she used to sell the leaves on eBay.
One of the plants is mature but only has 5 leaves but lots of stem so I'm not sure whether to leave it until spring or cut off the nodes and propagate.
She had another plant where its more variegated at the top and green at the bottom on the leaves. I'm not sure whether to take the top off and turn into a plant.
So am I right in thinking that if there is a node that has a little green growth point and I snip back to there it will promote green? If its a half and half growth point it will be both and if mainly white it will be alot more variegated?
Sorry for all the questions. I've watched so many videos on them but I never knew you could promote variegation.
@@meganpahl3612 Have left a reply but not sure if you can see it.
You guys have come so far in such a short time. Amazing how much knowledge you’ve acquired. Thank you for sharing it with us. Your Albos are absolutely gorgeous. So well nurtured and taken care off. I would love to see a spotlight on Hoyas. Please keep the videos coming. Love you guys ❤
Thank you for sharing all this info 😍
Love the plant spotlight video and learned something new. Keep them coming!
Yesss! It was fun to film!
Thank you for discussing the finger touch oils and plants. It is so sad when I see people touching their plant roots to know how bad that is for the plant yet people don't know.
Wow! I'm really liking the variegated ones.
Very informative! Thanks for sharing your info
Such a great video. I learnt so much!
You two are super lady ❤
Please do Monstera Thai Constellation next! Would like to learn more about them❤
Lovely plants 🪴

My friend, thank you for good sharing 😊
This was so interesting! Thank you!
No thank you!!
I know that all of your plants are quality and it's nice that you are actually hands-on with the processes involved if I come to Florida I'm going to need a U-Haul and both of my wallets
I really love your videos
More videos like this about your different varieties of plants
I was so scared you would break the leaf. You grabbed them so hard. I love the music and all the information. I will check out your site.
So informative....I love my Monstera(green)Don't dare to have variegated one yet.Thanks...love all your videos Great job!!!
Thx Glenda!
thanks plant queens
LOVE this video. When you cut your albos do you propagate right into the soil mix? Would love to see a video close up with you cutting one up. 💚
Love the video. I have a green Monstera with leaves 26in long and 21in wide , in a pot outside. Have you thought about giving us ideas on setting up a small patio using your aroids , and pots , and maybe a water feature? You have such nice pots in your store. :)
Just a beautiful assortment of pole dancing Albos
Loll too funny
Hahaha 🤣 your joke is killing me
definitely interested to know the difference in potting mix u use for inside vs outside plants
Yess! Soil is always a popular subject! It’s definitely on our list!
I will like to have one, but the price is crazy. Love this nursery, I was in heaven looking at all the beautyfull plants. Their customer service is great. They answered all my questions. ❤❤❤❤
I sure want one 😊
I enjoy your videos and would like to see more. I collect Hoyas and am always looking for news ones. Any information you can show and share about growing Hoyas would be greatly appreciated. I live in dry, hot, sunny Tucson, Arizona so my growing conditions are different from yours.
Awesome great work ,I live all the way in Trinidad and Tobago ĺove to get one they are so beautiful the yellow so pretty 😍💞 white purity
Thank you so much! & yes they are 😍
Ohhh Monsteras🤍🌿🤗
Beautiful video❤... I can't believe my see seeing lot's of lot's of plant. Wish it's near me 😘 . In my wish list 🙏📝
Great video, thanks! Searching how to cut and prop mine as it is giving mostly white leaves now 😢 so sad! I'm hopeful I can cut back to better variegated stem 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
4:47 Soil recommendations. Thank you good tips
Thanks for sharing helpful tips, may I ask anyway to make bud grow more faster? sometimes I feel like the bud on middle cutting is just freezing
very informative….have you tried using pon substrates? thank you.
Love it! Great video guys!
Thank you!!!!
Like coco chips...or what? Love the Albos..
I would like for you to do a care video on Monstera Thai Constellation, as well, as have one of those ...
Paula I think you’re beautiful! and I’m in love with you 😍
But as for Monstera Albo Borsigianas (small form) they have basically Chimeral Variegation which means they can change from low to more variegation and Vice Versa, from more variegation to none. The main reason is how the variegation draws from its stem. So the more balanced the variegation of the stem, chances are the leaves will draw a more balanced variegation on its leaves. And if the variegation on the stem is half green and half white, it will draw from the stem and produce half green and half white which is commonly known as the “half moon” variegation and from my experience, the half moons will eventually produce pure white leaves which will not survive cause plants need the green part which has chlorophyll to be be able to photosynthesize food. The main thing to get out of this is that plants that has “Chimeral Variegation” draws its variegation from its stem, and that when you cut your monstera and propagate, the variegation might diminish or it might create more variegation 🤙🏽
How about a video on the Florida beauty 😍
Great idea!!!
Awesome! I think the microphone went bad. But yeah, o love my albos!
I have a large monastero the nursery had cut the center out of it so it was very leggy and going all directions of the basket I cut it in half separated and repotted made several new plants some of the leaves are really drooping over I did this in my garage was a little cool that I used warm water is it going to come out of shock and leave stand back up and be beautiful again? Thank you for answering😢
What fertilizer you use. Thank you
What soil do you use for Hoyas
How do I order a low variegation one? I didn’t see that option on your website :(
Nice video, but i have a question. Do you keep the lights on all day and if not than how many hours a day?
Plants need a dark period for the best results. You could do anything from 12:12 (12 hours with light:12 hours without) up to 18:6 (probably too much light but with low wattage it’s usually fine), down to 8:16 and still keep decent variegation going.
Oh no I have touched the leaves, what should I clean them with so that the finger oil comes off again?
I'm enjoying this video, I want to try cuttings from monsters also, would like to try and grow a green/white one so please give your information where to order with price please thank you in advance
Thanks for the informative Albos where are you guys located
Of course! We’re located in South Florida, west of Fort Lauderdale
I leave her in California how much is the shipping
When do you start shipping? Thanks luv luv luv your Channel.....
I would like to have some of them how would I get one
You are absolutely gorgeous. 🥰🥰
Please, more Hoya and Anthirium videos
Youuuuu got it!!! 🥳
I’m confuse, i can’t purchase online🙈
growing in coco perlite, isn't that hydroponics? Do you have to water everyday with nutrients A+B, Cal Mag etc?
It’s inorganic; not hydroponics. Hydroponics requires a reservoir and roots partially submerged/grown into water. These are grown just as you would normally grow in soil, the substrate is just inert/inorganic. You can have active or passive reservoirs but I can’t think of an instance where you’d be adding nutrients daily. Typically you’d change out a reservoir with fertilizer weekly and these are probably fertilized bi-weekly or with slow release fertilizer since inorganic substrates don’t have any natural fertilizers in them.
These seem really leggy…is that common with this type?
Went to the site to order and couldn't find anything. Impossible to navigate your website. Nice plants, bad website. Needs to be more user friendly.
I tried to buy them online but I confused I couldn’t find it, not even Plant’s price
Yes, please more Hoya videos 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
How much is the cheapes monstera albo
Do you ship to Canada?😢
Can i order some, I live in France ?
quick math, your easily looking at what 100k+ if not more with how crazy the prices have been the past 3-5 years.
Hi do you ship to Oman 🇴🇲??
How can I order
Do you guys ever have any events where people can win an albo? I ask because I have DREAMED of having one. I have a large collection and am very good at growing but, I just cannot afford this beautiful dream plant! Can you offer any prices, deals, drawings ect? I have every monstera except the tai and albo. There has got to be a way.Perhaps if we send video of its growth and life ect? Promise top cuttings to you? ANYTHING!
Here in the Philippines the Monstera are so Pricy😔so much expensive.
Oh man, I can only imagine!
Yes especially the Good Variegation are Higher prices...😔I can't afford.
Dou you sell them? and please show your web site.
I would like to purchase a albo
Price this plant
🧐
How can I buy a album from you
Just take all of my money 😭
😮😮😮😮😍😍😍😍💚🤍💚🤍
I love seeing these monsteras but this video is misleading. “ what we’ve learned from growing albo monsteras” should be called “ This is our nursery are the types of monsteras we sell at our nursery”
Sent me your order plant
Wasted my time. Didnt show how to actually root.
I am really confused. This is the first time I have viewed one of the videos you produce but, after visiting the multiple links to your nursery I cannot find a single plant for sale to the general public. The links listed in the description of the video "Shop Growers Choice" and "Shop Aroid Restock" both lead to pages that have 404 page not found messages. I did a google search which says you sell to the public and deliver via email but after thoroughly perusing your site there is NOTHING but WHOLESALE links.. Have I made a mistake by subscribing to a CZcams channel that is going to do nothing but tease me about the plants that only wholesalers can access and purchase. Why work so hard to just fail at gaining customers that would like to purchase your products? I am removing my like and unsubscribing.....
Same! Several videos about online ordering but only links are for wholesale 😭
please gift me one to Pakistan ,i cant afford ,nor have card .please please gift me one
That’s one plant I will never ever buy. Waste of money
First of all, that’s a dreamhouse not a greenhouse 🥲😂 I have an albo now, it’s giving new leaves but barely any aerial roots. I would love to get them though! Any tips???? It is on a mosspole and not overwatered…
