oke so the guy that sings is a guy who likes the girl and the other guy that occasionally appears is the girl's dead brother.
soo... he died yeah? and then the girl didnt feel like he deserved her appreciation i guess lol so the guy that sings also likes the girl but she doesnt know so he sings about his feelings for her but sings it in a way that those words he said was from her dead brother..
but in my version i made it the best of both worlds where you see both sides of their story whether the dead brother really felt that way or not
but you know...the only way to really get it is by watching and listnening to it for real lol

Light Runner exactly! and I feel like it was so easy for him to make it up about how Connor was feeling because he was wasn't making it up. Just saying it out of someone else's mouth. Same with for forever. I think it was so easy for him to tell that story to Zoe's parents because it was his fantasy of the ideal friendship he wanted.
What kills me is that even though you know Evan's making it all up, he's actually probably totally right.

I think this is the song that makes me the saddest out of all of them. Other than the fact that Evan thinks all these wonderful things about Zoe but makes it seem as if Connor was thinking them so that Zoe can have some good 'memories' of him. More than that, it makes me sad because Connor probably thought all those things about Zoe at some point, but he was so messed up that he just couldn't and didn't show it at all. Even more, Evan is so pure that he paints this image of Connor so that everyone thinks of him as being nice, but only after his death. But nobody actually remembered or cared for the real Connor, though.
P.s. The way Connor acts when he appears as a ghost, I'm positive that there was good in him, it was just masked by all his issues

@@aggie5668I didn’t get that at all. Conner in the novel just felt like a complete d**k to be honest. He seemed very self absorbed and lacked empathy for anybody, yeah he was probably mentally ill but the closest definition I could think of to describe him would be a permanent stage of the terrible twos like he never really grew mentally out of the toddler stage of life where everything is black or white. Even death didn’t really erase that. Personally; I think it was the imaginary Conner that Evan created that everybody felt sorry for. The one I felt sorry for was Evan though, he was genuinely a good person and the Murphy’s sort of took advantage of that.

For those who haven’t seen the description or don’t know the musical:
The one singing is the boy with the short hair and the cast (Evan). The other boy with the sweatshirt (Connor) that occasionally pops up is the girls (Zoe) dead brother. Zoe and Connor had a bad relationship and she had completely refused to mourn him. Evan has a crush on Zoe and, probably both for an excuse to talk to her and to try to convince her that her brother wasn’t so bad, tells her all the reasons he (Evan) loves her under the guise of Connor having said them. It’s unknown if Connor really felt like this though, because most of the times we see Connor in the musical he is just a figment of Evans imagination, and from the times we see him alive he obviously has had a bad relationship with his family for a very long time.

This is amazing, and also quite sad. Out of all the animatics I've watched this is the only one that made me remember that Connor is dead. It's kind of strange really. The musical is played by great people who put in lots of emotion and it goes so smoothly that you forget that Connor killed himself. But sometimes in the musical one line can just take you out of that trance that makes you think Connor is alive and makes you realize, "Oh wait. Connor is dead." And this is what I thought of while watching this. Putting that aside, you did a great a job. Keep up the good work!

I play an online game were you can play or create games for others, you can meet people there, I meet two guys one named gorge and other name Tyler, at first I was scared because I didn't know them in real life but... They told me so many things of they're life and I knew I could trust them, I got a lot in my shoulder since my parents always fight, my "friends" hated me and the died of my best friend (rest in peace Javier) so I started cutting myself I didn't want to live any more, I didn't sleep, I had nightmares, I just wanted to sleep and don't wake up... Ever.. But Tyler notice I wasent ok, he started asking what was grong and I just told him it was nothing, I knew I needed to tell someone I couldn't tell my mom I felt she was to stressed to deal with me... So at the end I told him, he was shocked i just told myself "I just lost a friend" he told me he wanted to hug me so tight I was happy but sad so I told him (in the chat of course) "aren't you afraid of me? I mean im a suicide... " " Andrea... Im not scared because... Your my friend and I never had that happiness, you made me smile, a real smile " I was shocked "that's why " I was crying a mess, so instead of being my best friend he took the place of the big brother I never had and gorge is dating my oc, he's my best friend and I'm really happy because in 2 years when I'm 15 years old and he's almost 19 I will meet him!

I got an entire story arc idea for my characters based off of this song. I'll give you context for the characters, and describe the story arc.
Amethyst, an alien from the planet Ademoid, suddenly woke up on earth with their brother, Felix. They were offered hospitality by a man with a lot of scars, Gray. However, Gray was really a bounty hunter sent to eliminate all life on Ademoid and just had to kill Amethyst and Felix to get their job done. Felix was killed in a horrible way as Amethyst could only watch. Amethyst managed to survive after being left to die and was taken in by the Framel family, only consisting of Lisa Framel and Cameron Framel. Amethyst has abilities linked to photos and is a photographer in their spare time. They use hormones to keep their appearance androgynous.
Violet, a strange girl who can see ghosts and has hidden wings, was scarred at a young age from seeing her father and sister get brutally murdered, and watching her mother run away in order to escape. Violet was brought into the care of her aunt, Margaret, who absolutely hated her. Violet found joy in art until her dreams were crushed when Margaret snapped all her canvases in half and threw her paints into the fireplace. She developed depression and started drawing on her arms in the form of scars, as that was the only way she could do art. When she suddenly reunited with her mother, who was there all along, she suddenly woke up one morning to find a pair of twins in her arms, no pregnancy or anything. She decided to take the twins, Elizabeth and Paul, into her care and she gained the energy to fight her way out of depression and pursue her passion for art.
The story arc starts with Violet acting strangely around someone, and people notice this. They start to worry that she's falling into depression again until it's noticed that she's blushing at times and shows general signs of having a crush. Her friends start trying to figure out who she's fallen for without asking because they know she'll just deny it. As the story continues, hints about who Violet's fallen for are slowly dropped, until, at the end of the arc, when Violet confesses, it's revealed that it's Amethyst. This shocks a lot of people because they didn't think Violet would take such a chance.
Edit: You're wondering where the song itself comes in, right? Well, Violet happens to sometimes make music. She sang to Amethyst about their brother. Amethyst and Felix were pretty close but never really opened up to each other about things, which is why I got this idea.

This was so heartfelt and emotional, I love how you used 'flashbacks,' as well as the way you utilized both Connor and Evan.
