I love seeing the market and you shopping before you cook, thats always my favorite part is walking around the store thinking of ideas looking at the ingredients
Actually those were not squared they were cuttlefish but but taste about the same and cooks the same and the meal looked absolutely delicious
that looks like cuttlefish to me not squid. squid is more narrow in the body and it has a clear, see through, glass like back bone while cuttlefish has the solid white bone. turns to powder when dry. very calcium like

That's not a Squid. That's a Cuttlefish. Squid has a Pen for internal shell and Cuttlefish has a cuttlebone. That Cephalopod has a cuttlebone so it's a Cuttlefish.
