I’m hooked on this and Nina’s channel. I’m going back and watching the older ones I didn’t see. So interesting to see how the other half live. And seeing the life of the crew, what a great way to see the world
Thanks Tim, let us know which one is your favorite. We love Ninas channel also 👩🍳🤙
@@motoryachtloon are you trying to get me in trouble with her? Seems like she could be firey..
Ok fine.. I like this one better
Nina is a redhead that is good with knives be careful 🔥
@@motoryachtloon 🤣😇
Steve you're doing great.
We think so to. Thanks for watching 🛥🤙
Definitely think they wanted to up their game on the videos....
8:30 Capt. Paul gave a (in his way of being stern) hard command. Telling Steve to do his per drone planning. I worked on a boat with Captain Paul’s style of command. That was 35 years ago, when I was 17. Worked on that boat for 5 years. That Captain is still one of my best most respected friends.
Keep the great videos coming Steve. There all great. And I watch them all.
Keep Safe and Well, Loon Crew.
Always love the scenes that include the crew doing their thing. It is the crew that makes Loon special!
Spat out my drink when that guy started meowing. Great work Steve, cheers Loon crew!
hahaha yea what was that! Maybe a little island fever? 😂
@@motoryachtloon I suspect he noticed you were filming, and decided to do something silly on camera 🤷♂
good work Steve
The way I jumped just as much as Steve did when the horn blasted at the end 😅
hahaha Capt Paul for the win 😏
I have been a long time follower. Steve is doing a great job and keeping up the great quality we have all become used to. Bravo!
Hi Mitchell, Thanks for continuing to watch and for the support. Steve is finding his way nicely and will continue to improve so get ready 😎
STEVE! This video was EPIC! Those drone shots skimming the water with the music....Chef's kiss! Capt Paul's dive footage was amazing as always. Great save with landing the drone onboard. Pat yourself on the back for this one!
Steve got very lucky with this one. Let's see how long it will take until the next one. 🛥🥂
Probably your best video yet! Gorgeous shots
Thank you and Steve is just getting started 😎
@@motoryachtloon Steve is doing very well and he is happy doing this! Thank you!
Love the addition of music to the evening drone flyovers. Lovely job, Steve!
Easily your best one yet Steve!
We think so to. Thank you ☺️
Nicely done Steve and Congrats on NOT CRASHING THE DRONE!! Actually how many drones has Capt Paul lost?? Great finishing of video with the Horn blasting away thought you chiattt your shorts then lol.
Super video. Great drone shots!
Best video yet. Steve has hit the ground running. Loving this content 👏
Thank you we think so also 🛥🥂
Seeing more of the destinations with Steve is cool. And seeing Paul get out in the water is also nice. Glad to see the "next week video" preview at the end.
The person meowing at Steve - like what hahah
Epic Dives, great video Steve!
That ending was great!!
LOVE the Drone footage. EXCELLENT!
Love these long-form, explanation-rich videos. Keep up the great work!
Lovely place and great view of the areas,,nicely done,,thanks for sharing..😊
The videos that were filmed and edited by Blair were so much more entertaining. The way he shared the relationships with the crew members on board was what I tuned in for.
Sorry Steve.
I'm glad you said it cause I've been thinking it. I don't know what happened but Blair was a TREMENDOUS asset to MY Loon. Disappointed that they couldn't find a way to work that out.
The Droooneee is doooown! In my worst Scottish Accent! But alas all was saved! Nice job Steve! And of course to Cap and all the awesome crew!
Excellent video, thanks so muc!
Enjoying your vids Steve... Lovely work 👏🏻
Best video yet Steve!! Really great pictures and videos!! That is one hell of a ship's horn eh' Steve!
Good footage and funky tunes... and always up beat commentary.
Great video Steve, loved the sunset shots as well as the low to the water drone shots.
Coming along nicely thank you for that!⚓️
Love watching what the crew are doing! Less so what the guests are up to.
Like your using the crew mote to explain what they are doing.
Nice filming in of the sunset with drone. Your settling in, and doing just fine Steve.
Stunning
Great ending ! Loving the content
This made me so happy to see this. Many thanks for every video that you post. Always warms my ❤ 🤗
Thank you for such a great comment 🛥🥂
Definitely your best work to date Steve. Great choice of music and awesome footage of the wales. I would like to know more about Loons deal with Necker Island / Sir Richard. Also further down the line it would be good to see a day in the life POV of the yacht videographer / content creator.
Breathtaking drone footage ❤ We will see you in Italy and about soon! Thank you
Love You Team Loon..❤❤
Always does my heart glad.
Thank you as always for your comments @panpiper 🛥🥂
Close call with the drone there LOL great video, you guys are ABSOLUTE legends!
Steve dodged a bullet on that one 😰
Wow!
Nice work with the drone whale shots!❤❤
I can’t wait for part 2
Us to.. 🤙
Epic whale chase indeed. Seeing the wildlife is one great aspect of your videos. Keep up the awesome content
Great video, look forward to the epic scenery in Europe and seeing all the crew especially the inside of the boat. I hope the crew on holidays have a good well earned rest. Enjoy the crossing LOON.
Not long now, crossing starts next week. 🛥🥂
This makes me proper miss my Caribbean cruise, time to book another 😀
The Caribbean is the best. Definitely time to book another cruise. 😎
Found you through Lauren Landers tbh.. had to go back and catch up on what you are all about and was on the fence.. but then Capt Paul showed up and it all came together for me.. A truly personable crew set by his example.. Absolutely SMASHED the subscribe button.. Much love and Thanks so much for sharing
Hey Randy, welcome to the Channel. We love Lauren and the time we had with her. Thank you for the kind words.😁
Great video! I miss the more frequent interaction with the crew though
Love that this video is longer!!
We're working on keeping them 20+ mins 😁
Sweet
So fun! Thanks guys!!❤
I love Loony Tuesdays! The Spotted Rays bring back memories made 25 years ago... thanks for bringing us along. Also, seems Steve may need some more Marine Horn exposure as evidenced in the closing scene lol... priceless.
Thanks as always Bubba. Sad that our Caribbean season is winding down but excited to get across the pond and back to the Mediterranean 🛥🥂
@@motoryachtloon I see you are already in Ft. Lauderdale, will there be transatlsantic vids along the way? Bon Voyage with fair winds and following seas...
Yep, we're in the process of stocking up and buying new camera equipment (drones) then on our way to the Med. 😎
M/ Y Loon; Best in the Business!! More Nina svp 😏
Good thing the crew don't wear white shorts :D Nice to see you so respectful of the whales and giving them distance. Really grinds my gears when people get too close.
Great video, Stephen.
Very cool video! Thank you for the wonderful insight view!
Can you show us sometime how you „normally“ land the drone on the ship?
The drone drama -- coming back for that!!
hopefully not too much more 🛥🥂
Awe the baby 🐋 🐳 🐋 so cute!!
great content. Keep up the good work!
Looking forward to the vlog! Steve is really amping his game up!!
Quick question! Do you/other super yachts hire nurses on board?
bigger ones usually do but its more gigayacht size
The camera quality is pretty good.... Like one of the few good ones on CZcams. Within the Top 5 I think. Top 1 is MKBHD. Drone is like 25% of the other cameras quality... Nighttime seemed to be another camera...
I feel like having drones in the air so often really increases the probability of losing them, having them fall out of the sky etc.
Yea pretty much and luckily they’re insured. We just love to rub it in when they do crash. It’s just good banter 😁
Not sure if there was a gear change but WOW the quality on this one is so much better!!! I'm so excited for more content! Love seeing the crew and the amazing things they do. Keep up the great work Loon! ♥
Thank you ☺️ We're working hard on upgrading and bringing the best quality video for you all 🛥🥂
I wish I could afford to sit at that beautiful beach set up 🙁
Steve, you will find that MY Loon being the number 1 charter YT channel that Captain Paul is hard task master with all crew, suggest you wear a few extra pairs of “Y Fronts” and be one step ahead of the Skipper. Great episode, great videography and a great crew. Take care all, be safe and God Bless 👍👍🙏🚢
Awesome vid Steve and crew! Oddly enough, when it's Loon vs Drone, the poor drone doesn't fair too well. Should keep a separate count of how many times Cpt Paul has to rescue the drone haha
Paigey is the best 😎🥰🥳
To much screen time Steve, You need to have the crew on screen more then yourself. Like crew updates, what there up to and doing, Crew stories and just mucking around, You know fun stuff 😊
Steve rocked those whale views! Even if he wrecked a drone, we'd call it even...
Would love to see how we lands the drone on a moving boat. Ive done it and it’s not easy at all
Like the video that you wrapped up with spirit animal and Lauren
They’re the best 😊
the views..WOW!
Isn't it the best? As this is our last Caribbean charter we're sad to be leaving but also excited to get over to the Med 🛥🥂
@@motoryachtloon Its already med season?! WHAT? I thought you guys hung around until hurricane season started and then made your escape?
Monaco GP at the end of May is the official start of the Med summer season
Can we get the dockhands to move Loon closer to the Florida Marina Cam?? Amadeus and Calypso are in the way...
I am another one hooked on this and Nina's channel.
Hahaha, sorry, next time we'll try harder. We'll post when we go through the bridge so you can all watch. 🛥🥂
Good work Steve not dropping it in the water, but like the Capt said, research your flight zones. You are close to the airport, so you’ll always have that authorization zone. And DJI’s map does not always match the US FAA flight restrictions. For instance that whole area around Charlotte Amalie requires LAAANC authorization (maybe you did). I know we all want to get the shot, but if folks don’t start playing by the rules it’s only going to make the regulations that much worse, and we’ll probably end up loosing access to these amazing places to fly.
Fantastic drone coverage of the whales, well done Steve your shots were awesome 😀
At least the drone was still dry :)
If anyone is not watching these vids in 4K you are missing out big time 🤩
And you get paid for this? I’m sure in between the diving and toys you deserve some fun. Well done lads and lasses!❤
Haha its a tough job but someones got to do it 😎
I was looking for y’all in st Thomas this past Wednesday. Didn’t see y’all. Hope to run into y’all one day in the bvi
We’re up in Florida now. Next time 🛥️😊
When guests go to dinner in a restaurant off the boat how are the cost covered? Is the visit part of the trip package or is it an additional cost that is payed as finish there trip before debarking?
Maybe time to get custom software for the drones so you can fly anywhere and not hit nofly zones?
Great vid, as usual. I'm curious, question to Loon crew and, I guess yachties in general. If you had the opportunity to crew an expedition yacht, long passages, no tips, but getting to go places few see, would ya?
I guess that's a not a no, but f no 😆.
Can someone explain or do a video on what is that boat you are towing around? What is its purpose and why tow it? Are there any people on it during towing. If not, what if it breaks loose from tow? Thanks
Steve absolutely 💩 himself with the ship horn was the best, 2nd was meow man at the island haha
hahahaha 😹
Great work Steve, thank you, I’m looking forward to seeing your content when you cross back over to Europe. Any idea when that will be? I know that a lot of the big cruise ships have already departed for the Med. Also, general question, I know Sean has moved on as has Blair, who else has gone and who else is new?
Thank you. We hope to depart Florida for the Mediterranean next week. Looking forward to getting to Europe and showing you our journey 🛥🥂
I thought the table and chairs looked a little close to the bonfire 🙂
hahaha everyone had singed leg hairs that evening.. Captain Paul scooted the chairs back once he arrived on the beach. Franko got a little excited when given the instructions to build a small camp fire. 🔥😂
much to research steve you have 🙃
The important question I think everyone may be thinking with the Caribbean season wrapping up is will we be getting an atlantic crossing series going the other way?
Yes! We’re currently in Florida preparing to cross 🛥️🤙
Seaweed again this year
Do you have a compressor on board to fill your scuba tanks? Or do you just bring twenty or so.
We have a large dive compressor onboard. Great idea we'll show it in a future video 🤿😎
👍👍
Question: have these videos helped you get your schedule for charters filled up?
I've gotta think it dosent hurt.
Steve is great, get the feeling Capt is being a bit hard on him. Butt from my perspective his work is brilliant!
Need an emergency drone catcher net similar to an airvrat carrier!!
haha ok buying Steve a big butterfly net right now 😂
I love the Video but I would love it more if you Would Do a catch kill and eat Video.
We've been trying to, but unfortunately, we can't harvest Lobsters in the BVI. 😢
@@motoryachtloon Hint Lobsters are called Bugs where I am from. Lmao I am a Mainer. But non the less you guys do fish and it would make a great video of you guys doing a catch clean and cook fresh from the sea.
We'll try and get it done. 🤙
I am second ❤❤
better luck next time 😉🥈
Hey Capt Paul out of curiosity which style of the sunglasses are you wearing? Like the shape a lot 👀
Hey Alan, they're Costa Del Mar Rincon's. Great glasses i have them in multiple colors
@@motoryachtloon thank you! Any opinion on green vs blue lenses?
Hi Captain Paul, how is it possible to avoid collisions with whales, containers or any debris?
Is it dangerous?
Could that damage a yacht and sink it?
Thats why dji drones are no go.
Come to st lucia
We're so bummed we didnt make it down there this winter. Hopefully next year 🛥🥂
Who blasted the horn at the end?
😂
