    My wife works in San Diego, I work in Tijuana, she crosses the border everyday to go to work and we live pretty fucking good, like kings. I never though she was gonna adapt, because she´s white and conservative, but I´m impressed by how quickly she learned spanish and started to appreciate what this city has to offer. God bless TJ!

      Yaz 707 am from san Diego but thousands of people live in tj and work in San Diego. They get pay in USD and live great in Mexico.. I think am going to do the same.. but I already lived 7 years in mxcity one of the best in the world then in Queretaro then Monterrey. The company I used to work for had jobs in Mexico so I opted to give it a try.. Mexico it's nice. Trump and his fake news are saying Mexico is dangerous I say that's a lie. I lived there 11 years.. used take Morning runs. Evening runs out and nothing. Very calm..

    I live south of Brownsville, Texas in Mexico and pay only $105 for a one bedroom apartment, $5 electric, $25 for cable with Internet with year round temperatures of 85 to 95 degrees and no snow . No GMO fruits, no chem trails, no Border violence.

      Absolutamente! Those are the types of US citizens that have RUINED the USA. We call them liberal Snowflakes because they want EVERYONE to tolerate their crap; but yet they REFUSE to tolerate anyone else. Run those SNOWFLAKES BACK to their beloved democratic party in Washington, D.C.

    • @msdaisy6949

      @@mexicanamerican.mexicanfir1472 hey! Amigo! Oui! Not all of us are liberal snowflakes. The majority of those leaving the USA due to politics, are the democratic liberals who are so mentally ill they would leave before fixing it. They have weak, narrow minds that demand acceptance; yet they will not tolerate anyone else. No, conservatives are different. And some STILL leave...due to the economy. Now millions & millions of Latinos have a GIANT foothold in the USA. So now you know how the USA feels. Too bad. It will never get undone. We embraced our Latinos. So now, you can just remove the complainers. Leave us conservatives in peace. You'll know us by our HUMBLENESS.

      Americans moving to TJ will push up the prices of rent, making it harder for the residents to compete, the same way that a large influx of illegal immigrants pushed down the wages of blue collar American workers. It’s the simple law of supply and demand. Anyone who denies it is like a person who denies science. Most wealthier people don’t care, because it doesn’t effect them

  • @Tricklarock

Be ready for different rules of courtesy, or the utter lack of; dirty air; bad traffic/drivers; questionable food; endless poverty-real, not the American kind; "police" issues-esp if you're American; and more. It can play with your mind.

Such a bargain plus I have Sentri so I don’t have to suffer for the waiting lines. My apartment back at Chula Vista was $1,500 dlls and its was just as big as the one I now rent in TJ! Yes and no. There is a substantial population of Americans living in Tijuana, but no, there is not a movement of people from the USA going to live in Tijuana.

    Not in a million years would I live in Tijuana. Americans don't have many rights in Mexico, the govt. and police can do whatever they want to do whenever they feel like it.

      @ R Ma.....actually I have traveled throughout Mexico all the way to the Yucatan and back several times and yes, the people are wonderful and it's a great culture but even law abiding tourists can be mistreated and harassed by the authorities. I've had it happen to me many times and paying a bribe would get me out of the situation they invented. The way the police and govt. act is not good for tourism.

    • @franciscovaldes2717
      @franciscovaldes2717 Před 7 lety +9

      Harassed by authorities? So lets talk about US police officers and their "easy to shoot everyone" manners. Or how about ICE authorities obnoxious attitude towards every single tourist that only want to spend a holiday and money in 'Murica. Lets talk about UNITED AIRLINES!!!

    I live in San Diego, 25 minutes away from Tijuana, and I would never in my life set foot in Tijuana EVER. I would never go live there, I would much rather live in a homeless shelter in S.D than in a affordable house in TJ.
