    Hey Anthony great review. I have an xmr 1000 with ITP Cryptids. Would you compare the Mud lite 2’s to this tire? Looking for a more all round tire. We do more trail riding then mud holes

    • @ahurt22
      @ahurt22  Před 5 lety +1

      Cryptids are in opinion, are more like Garlolia Axel tires that came with mine, You'll LOVE the Mud Lite 2's or the zillas for sure

      Hey Frank, sorry for the delay. I have felt Zero power loss running these tires! Looking back, the zillas were to lite for my bike. when I smash the throttle the ML2's sink in a bite, whereas the zillas would spin to the rev limiter

    • @ahurt22
      @ahurt22  Před 6 lety +1

      I would say there about the same as Zillas in Mud performance, Zillas always did a "good" job getting through most mud holes for me, I also have a set of Gorilla Axle Tires which will dig to China, but they will rattle the teeth out of your mouth and handle terrible on hard pack trails

      Pretty well! no chunks our of the tire like my previous Zillas. Just really hard to get used to the "Very little driver feedback" there almost to smooth. I just have to retrain myself on every ride that the tires are there when I need them to be, like going up steep muddy grades (But they've never let me down!)

    Thanks for the vid. I have a 21 outlander 1000 max I'm getting ready to replace tires. I do a lot of road riding as well as trails but not a ton of mud but want something that I going to get me through if I decide. Just concerned about wear or if they are rougher riding on hard surfaces more than the terra cross?

    • @ahurt22
      @ahurt22  Před rokem +1

      Becuase of the center lugs being so close together, it makes these tire extreamly smooth on hard pack. too smooth In my opinion, very litte feed-back, however, they lastested the longest out of all the tires iv'e had. my only dislike was, very little feed back of which might be okay to some people. But, overall, Great all around tire! Snow, Mud, Hard Packed, Loose sand- just okay.

      @@Letsroll000 I had a set of Terra-Cross on my Honda Rincon many years ago, I loved them on trails, however back then Terra Cross biggest size was like 26 or 28?!? I can't remember. Lot of my freinds Ive ridden with "back then" had XTR's. Honestly my favorite ATV tire are the Maxxis Zillas. Zillas are light weight, great feed back, awesome all round tire.. BUT!!! they have problems keeping mud out of the rims. Trust me! I understand the mental anguish trying to find that perfect tire that checks all the boxes.
