I believe the main problem is that the companies generally push kpop artists to be flirty with their fans. There is a lot of sexual behaviour towards their audience. Even direct flirts at times, so called "fan service". I can imagine it being easy to fall into these traps if you're... I don't know how to put this, mentally troubled? Or just delulu for short, lol. The artists/performers should simply be what they are, singers, dancers, overall performers and not sexualise themselves for the sake of money, which obviously mainly benefits the companies. Exo were at the peak of their career but we were suddenly shattered with the news of Exo-M leaving and filling lawsuits against SN while GG had their own situation going on especially their dispatch news circulating everywhere. They were the right people but at the wrong timing.
