Hello KaladKaren. I am an HIV positive gay man but I have not told anyone about it. I have been taking my RV pill for more than two years now. It saved me from death because that time I was really sickly kaya I mustered the courage to have my self tested. I never stopped working because I take care of my senior mother. She is diabetic and has Parkinsons kaya even during my sickly days kailangan kong humugot dahil kahit maysakit ako bawal magkasakit because I am taking care of her. I am an only child and it had always been the two of us since I was a baby. Lahat ng sahod ko napupunta sa bills, food and medical expenses niya kaya hopefully maging isa ako sa recipient. THanks KaladKaren and Luke. Also to Vice and Ion. More power to you.

When Vice said, "It's better to be a big fish in a small pond rather than a small fish in a big ocean, " I felt that. Like Vice, I am one of my siblings who is expected to succeed. Among 10 siblings, I am the only college graduate and the only one who did it with flying colors. At first, I think the same; that life would be so much easier when I graduated. Then when I got my job, I really felt the weight of everyone's expectations. As a breadwinner, it's really hard to think of yourself when you know a lot of people rely on you and your decisions. This quote Vice said encouraged me to resign from my current low-paying job in a huge company that can't acknowledge my worth and go to a start-up company where I can influence a lot of people while enhancing my knowledge. While watching this I said to myself, "Balang-araw ako rin. My time will come".

Member po kami ng LGBT ng 5 years partner ko. And we deserve the help you can give for our house na pinagagawa namin. Absurd as it may seem pero the struggle and the long challenge para makamit yun was not easy. Like you and Meme vice. We start in scratch and until now is keeping our hard work to barely make it everyday. We are in the poverty line and still manage to give my siblings their needs. Wala na po akong magulang, mom and dad. Its great success story to tell specially sa mga lgbt na nawawalan ng pag asa, ulila and iba pang na ngangarap na kaya nila mag achieve kahit pa mahirap, with the help of God and hard work.

Happy pride month po. I am a proud Lgbtqia member of Dumaguete City. I was 3rd RUNNER UP MISS GAY DUMAGUETE 2002. I AM married with a wife and 1 daughter. Im a public school teacher here in Negros. Im writing this because naaksidente ako dahil last Dec 23 2021 nagkahika yong anak ko so bumili ako ng gamot but hindi na ako nakauwi dahil nabangga ako ng car. I was rushed to the hospital pero yong bill ko umabot ng 550k nabayaran ko naman sya pero baon talaga ako sa utang dahil yong savings ko ay binayad ko po.from Dec to May wala po akong sahod dahil leave without pay po dahil the accident happened not on a qorking hour. Sa ngayon naman po ay survive pa rin kahit papano. Sa september pa po ang sahod and teaching is my only bread and butter. Sana matulingan po ninyo kami. Love you po.God bless

My son only earns 20K a month. We are renting a house in Laguna. Hindi sapat yung salary nya. Kaya kung makatulong makatipid sa maliliit na gastos tulad ng veggies for food e napakalaking tulong na ito sa amin para makakain at least 3 times a day. God bless you. As part of the LGBTQIA+ community, parang naging common na po saatin to be the breadwinner or future breadwinner ng ating families, it is actually both an honor and a big responsibility po, lalong lalo na po if you're still young and sabi nila marami pang kakaining bigas and isa pang estudyante. Wala naman siguro pong masamang itry ko pong humingi ng tulong sainyo tungkol sa studies ko po. I am an incoming third year college student and approaching na po ang pag gawa namin ng thesis, but unfortunately hindi na po ganong kareliable ang aking laptop, minsan antagal niya na po magloading, and sometimes din may mga situations na hindi ko na maintindihan na nangyayari sakanya, though usable pa po ito pero kung sa pangmadalian nakakatakot na mas mauna pa itong sumuko. Alam ko po Ms. Kaladkaren na naranasan mo rin po ito based sa story mo po sa interview mo po with Ms. Karen Davila, I salute you po kasi hindi ito naging hindrance saiyo and inspiration ko po ito para ma appreciate the simple things na kahit hindi best quality atleast nakakatulong. I have worked with different people and organizations for community development and charity works. I wish isa ko sa mga deserving sa tulong na ibibigay ninyo. Gaya ninyo gusto ko din pong tulungan yung nanay ko na maipaayos yung bahay namin dahil since pinanganak po ako wala pa pong nagbago dito. Kahit anong ipon din po hindi padin po kinakaya nang kinikita namin dahil sa mga bayarin at mga bilihin and nag try po akong mag pasa nang entry nagbabakasakali isa po ako sa mga masuswrteng mapipili ninyo kung hindi man po well atleast nag try po ako at wala naman pong masama. I have a Lesbian partner for almost 11 years now. I can say as a couple, sobrang daming struggles na yung napagdaanan namin. But those struggles help us to be where we are right now. We've come a long way and I know, that's one of the reason kung bakit nandito pa din kami, nananatiling magkasama at matatag. Your relationship and Meme Vice, ay ang isa sa mga relationship na nilo-look up ko, namin. Kasi, pwede pala. Pwede pa din maging masaya despite everything. Pwede pa din magmahal at mahalin.
I will be very grateful and forever ko po ipapagpapasalamat kung isa po kami sa matutulungan niyo. We will promise to put that in good use. Kasi, right now, we are saving and aiming for a laptop for me and my partner so we can work and do things na din po para sa family namin. Any help will do.

I'm an advocate of gender equality and I always fight for our fellow members' rights when someone tries to degrade them. I'm an incoming third year medical laboratory science po and it's getting harder than I thought. We're currently struggling financially, but despite of this I continue to strive hard and persevere in order to help my family. I'm a consistent honor student po. I'm humbly asking for your assistance to help me in fighting this challenge. I hope that I would be one of the chosen lucky beneficiaries of this vlog po. Hi, Ms. Kaladkaren! You have been one of my inspirations as an iskolar ng bayan. I am an asexual non-binary person, currently a third year student at UP Diliman (BS Geology), and I'm already entering my thesis year. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic my laptop has been overused for two years already and it has been so hard for me to study because its LCD has been broken for 7 months. I don't have resources to buy another laptop or at least to repair its LCD, and I have approached numerous technicians however no one could fix my laptop. I know my problem is not as worse as other people trying to reach out, but my endless anxiety for the coming year is very much affecting my academics especially the worry of how will this laptop will survive in my last hectic year in UP. I am currently in 3rd year college pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I believe that age is doesn't matter and education is the key to success that is why I still chose to study in college even if I am already 26 years old. Hello Ms. Karen and Meme! 🙂 I would like to share lang po. More than 4 yrs ago. I met Joey, my girlfriend. Kwento ko lang po. At a young age, my girlfriend lost both her parents po dahil sa sakit. So she became a mom to her younger sister. She sacrificed her own dreams/studies to find a job in order to provide for her younger sister. Ngayon po nakagraduate na po yung kapatid nya, dreams naman po nya yung gusto nya tuparin. Nag enroll po ulit sya to continue her studies at the same time nagwowork din po sya para sa mga tuition fees nya. Sana po mapili ako para mabigyan po sya ng laptop na magagamit nya para sa school nya. I think she deserves it din po sa lahat ng sakripisyo, hirap at pagtitiis. Sobrang love ko po kasi sya knowing na she is really beautiful inside and out. Sa walong mag kakapatid ako yung inaasahan nila para makatulong sa family, Nakaka pressure pero kailangan kung gawin, yung panganay namin na kapatid Wala na sya namatay sa sakit sa puso (enlargement of heart) Yung pangalawa namin kapatid sya ay hindi nakaka kita sya ay bulag at may tatlong anak na Hindi pa nya nakikita gusto kung matulongan sya kasi iniwan din sya ng asawa because of her condition nakakaawa pero I need to be strong for them. And the rest Ng siblings ko Wala sa bahay lang with our parents.

I can say na as a member of lgbtqia+ I do appreciate her to the point nga naging isa siya sa mga inspirasyon just to do what I want in life. I do believe also na karapatdapat po ako makatanggap ng tulong niyo po dahil kinakailangan ko po talaga sa aking pag-aaral, lalo na ngayon na mag ftf class na po kami. Ako nalang po ang nagsusupport saking pag-aaral ko dahil sa hirap ng aming buhay. Ang aking ama ay isa lamang mechanic laborer at sometimes wala po talaga siyang income while my mama is only a housewife. 7 po kaming magkakapatud at kaming lahat ay nag-aaral.

Im a part of LGBTQ and I think i deserve to be happy this pride month because when i graduated in highschool i quikly look for a school in samar to study with but when i go back home theres nothing left in the house because my mather and father got a huge fight and they separated so when i follow them back they still fight i lot so i decided to work here in manila since 16 go back after 5 months and after i ho back they still fight and me and my siblings lived so difficult because they ddnt want to be ok so i decided to go back to manila when i was 17 and work for my siblings . I work yes my financial was great but the pandemic hit and the comoany i work with ended my contract so thats the worst part so i work as a boy in baclaran for years and im happy but my financial needs has risen because my sister will go to college and i want her to fullfill my dream to graduate college mas maigi na siya na muna saka na ako . So i aplly for a minimum job as a kithen helper and even with this kind of job my sallary is still insufficient . Im so tired stress my mental health is not healthy and i miss my family i ddnt go back to samar since 2018 and i think for my age 23 i dont deserve to be kike this i want to go back to college so i get a better job for them . That all. Thank you 😊

I wanna share my story sainyo po as one of those people na patuloy na lumalaban sa buhay. I am from Binangonan Rizal po at nagwowork bilang callcenter agent for almost 7years. Katulad po ni meme hindi rin po ako nakatapos pero breadwinner na po ako ng family namin since tumigil ako. Gusto ko po sanang mapili dahil sa nasisirang bubong ng bahay namin.. hindi ko po siya kayang ipagawa kasi lahat po ng sahod ko napupunta lang sa pamasahe at pangangailangan naming magpapamilya. Isa pong napakalaking tulong samin kung sakaling mapili po kami. Maraming salamat po sainyo at God bless po and stay healthy always.
